Pelosi On Jail Time For No Health Care: "The Legislation Is Very Fair In This Respect"
KOMO-TV: Do you think its fair to send people to jail who dont buy health insurance? Pelosi: .. "the legislation is very fair in this respect."
(Excerpt) Read more at realclearpolitics.com ...
This from a woman who marched with NAMBLA in a gay pride parade in San Fransicko in order to get re-elected! Marching with the little boy molesters wasn’t a matter of conscience for Nancy, but she’s ready to punish anyone who refuses to allow the state to control their health care. So, as long as the NAMBLA members in San Fransicko don’t refuse Pelosicare, Nancy won’t have a problem with them.
The fine for driving a car without insurance is pretty high and for good reason.
[[So how long are you going to wait for a savior?]]
Persoanlly, I need a savior as I’m disabled, however, there ARE non physical ways to support hte efforts for thosel iek myself who are physically unable to to support- this is goign to take a MASSIVE effort- of organization in order to work, otherwise ALL you are goign to end up with are scattered loosely organized movements liek hte tea parties that have little effect nationally, and you ARE goign to need the support of oflks liek myself who can contribute in ways that will help finacially.
and don’t you worry- IF the skirmish coems to my town- I’ll give what little effort I can physically to do what is necessary- I am not however able to move far beyond due to limitaitons beyond my control. When and if soemthing is organized by a competant leader who knows the law, you can also bet I wILL contribute as I am able to, but again, it’s goign to bhave to be an edffort that is organized- We’re beginnign to see hte makings of such an organization, by people skilled enough to do so, and again- don’t you fret about my involvement- I wil ldo what I am able to as I am able to
Oh please. This comparison is total BS.
You can own a car. You can drive a car. All without insurance! It’s just when you go on a public road, you are required to have insurance. You can drive it all day long on private property.
You are required to have some sort of insurance by your state government because you could hurt someone else!
You aren’t going to hurt someone else if you don’t have health insurance.
If you say “but we’ll all pay” then you have to explain to me why we have accepted the SOCIALISM of having people pay for services others have received. And don’t forget, that money is taken at the end of a gun.
We need to reject socialism in ALL of its forms.
We need to kill this meme that health insurance is like auto insurance.
Good. I only want people to do what they can do. If you are physically unable to do somehting, then I won’t expect you to do it.
Can you join your local GOP or other political party? Can you work within that party structure to influence the selection of good candidates? That would be something most of us could actually do.
How about jail time for every member of Congress that We The People uncover corruption on???
How about private investigators or ex-law enforcement volunteering to help with that investigation and exposure? One can consider it their patriotic duty to their nation.
Very few people are publicly behind the idea of using this bill as the initiative for sovereignty of states.
I am all for a statewide vote that will let the people decide if they want this healthcare in their state.
I live in Alaska, and I would allow my yearly PFD(permanent fund dividen, oil royalties) to be used for a healthcare plan, unlike some Alaskans I know I do not depend on the PFD as a paycheck or to be used for bills, to me its just a gift, its just something that I get once a year and usually I use it for Christmas gifts, I never depend on it for paying my bills, in other words I would not lose any sleep if it stopped.
So this amount which varies from $1,000 to $2,000 per person per year would to me be more than enough for our OWN version of a modernized efficient healthcare plan that does NOT discriminate per age or family income.
If some states vote that they want it then people that live there have a choice, they can pay for it or move out. same for those states that tell the Feds to kiss off, they can leave that state for a more socialized area.
The promise of States Sovereignty will eventually make or break this bill, mark my words.
Uh...it's not just about hurting someone else. If you t-bone a $100k car with your 20 year old chevy the owner of the $100k car is really going to hope you have insurance. Even more important, the insurance company of the $100k car is going to want the chevy driver to have insurance. Following the money will show that the law requiring insurance was bought by insurance companies in the first place.
If I crash into someone's $100K car with a hammer, I suppose I need hammer swinging insurance. I think maybe I could be sued in civil court for the damages and be ordered to pay restitution in some other way, even if I didn't have insurance. Why exactly would it matter to the expensive car's owner if I had my insurance company pay the bills or if I whipped out a checkbook and paid? Why do I need auto insurance if I have say $5 million sitting in an "accident fund" for just these sorts of things?
Following the money will show that the law requiring insurance was bought by insurance companies in the first place.
Why does this not surprise me at all?
personal cars owned and driven by mere citizens will be outlawed for “the common wealfare”.
Jury nulification is still allowed under the law. HOWEVER a specific jury instruction is prohibited. (judges are scared of it)
We need to MANDATE all juries recieve a jury nulification instruction in their final instruction charge before deliberations.
Jury nullification is cool, but I’m thinking about nullification at the state level where states refuse to follow or enforce federal laws.
That is excellent! Did you write that?
yeah, but people are only required to buy minimal liability insurance to cover anyone they run into. That requirement is for the protection of other people. It’s not a requirement to buy collision or comprehensive insurance. Required car insurance also costs only a few hundred bucks a year, not the outrageous $5-15K cost of the “qualified plans” in the PelosiCare bill.
This is the funhouse mirror. It’s like forcing people to buy car insurance when they never take their car out of the driveway, or even own a car. Fair? Screwballs.
You first Nancy.
Nope, if the constitutional paths to put this takeover down are subverted by these national socialists do not work then it could come to avenues most don’t want to address. Do you cut and run or take an attitude that nothing can be done and let the republic fall or do you take the hard steps to preserve the constitution and the republic? Doing nothing leads to tyranny and chains. The federal government is supposed to govern (not rule) with the consent of the majority and to allow otherwise will result in the same things that have happened throughout history; eg: Germany, Rome, etc.
It never fails, at the end of every democrat program IS A GUN. You vill do it or go to jail.
Won’t they just try to ammend the constitution or some such thing?
I mean, I think the Income Tax is unconstitutional - and you stand a 99% chance of going to jail if you don’t pay that.
Didn’t they pass that ammendment in the middle of the night while nobody was looking?
I’m starting really believe Zero & Co. are going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back -
We live in interesting times...
