A voice of reason! Thank you.

I often wonder if some of these people are just new to politics and slept through their government class or are dem plants to make us all look and behave stupidly.

They are the real deal in Oklahoma. Boren would never vote for this bill. Its political suicide. And his state went GOP last year bucking the Obama tide.

Yes, he did. And I don’t agree with all those “look what happened last time someone seceded folks” This is not last time. This is this time. The center section of this country can support itself and defend itself.
Who would the Zeroites get to physically oppose us? A bunch of gangbangers that would trip over thier pants?

You mean Dan Boren... It is David Boren is a former Senator who is now the Prez of University of Oklahoma. Dan is his son,or at least a relative, I believe. If Dan hadn’t voted the right way, he’d be toast in Oklahoma!

The physicians who do not retire will do this.

If this bill passes, physicians might not have the choice of seeing only a particular type patient. Laws can be passed that physicians see whatever patients present themselves that fall into their area of practice.

Retiring or changing careers might be their only choice. The little Stalins who would pass such bills as this would not hesitate to pass bills telling physicians what patients they must see.

Instead of having tea party’s we need to shut D.C. DOWN.

We need to shut the entire country down.

National Strike!

My liberty never dies. If it does here, you move elsewhere.

But what of the people before us that died for the liberty we now enjoy? Moving elsewhere is an abandonment of their sacrifices.

Thank you for being the voice of reason. I’m tired of these fatalistic jackasses on this thread. I’m not making light of this bill passing, but the fact is, the way the House is set up, the majority can ram through just about anything they want....change rules, etc.

The senate that may or may not be passed will not resemble the House version. If, and that’s a big if, the senate passes a bill, it will have to be reconciled with the House version, and then BOTH houses will have to pass it all over again with the changes made. That is a long ways away, and THAT is the vote we really need to watch.

In the end, yeah, tonight sucks.....but we are several steps away from this coming to fruition.

Thank you, too...the post-mortem whining and wasted energy has been a bit to take tonight. Of course I’m pissed, but let’s spend the energy on next steps instead of the Louisiana idiot who even if he voted the other way the bill still would have passed.

I am not sure you understand the gravity of the situation at hand. Congress will do what ever it takes to get this monstrosity passed. It WILL happen. The politics we are seeing are like none seen before in our country. Tyranny is close at hand.

Cao votes with the GOP all the time. You are so right about Boehner having him vote for his district which was the Jefferson district. Smart move IMHO.

Kudos to the dissenting Democrats - you don't have to be conservative to recognize a sh*t sandwich when you see one!!

I'd rather have "R"s in those districts than these so called "Blue Dog" Democrats. Even though they voted "no", we should still work to defeat them in 2010. I think the job just got a lot easier after tonight.

Just looking for you.

The game isn't over yet.....this goes to the Senate where hopefully it'll never see a floor vote. But the question on my mind is can this bill be repealed by new congress in the near future?

If yes, then a new congressional majority and leadership is our essential goal.
