I wish it were just the young...I am 47 and I get together often with my age peers and am amazed at how ignorant (and I use that in the proper term) they are...never thought about voting, don't care, have other things to concern themselves with..yadda frickin' yadda yadda yadda!!!

It was exactly like his 9/11 remarks. Absolutely without emotion. Weather reports get more passion than his speech that day. This guy has no connection to what our country went through and continues to go through as a result of that attack. We will never know the truth of his technical birthplace, but without a doubt, this person is not, culturally, an AMERICAN. He is not one of us.

I have tried to convince my home schooling moms and conservative Christian moms to stop hiding the talent. They dont want their childern to be of this world...but that is exactly the opposite of what Christ taught...Go, ye into all the world...if we teach principles and make sure our children can become independent critical thinkers and stand up for what they believe, we can change this world for good....many of our young conservative friends...dont know how to defend what they believe....it is very sad!

It's my understanding (and that's all it is becuz I have no real in depth knowledge of home schooling) that the government still provides certain curriculum and "topics" that must be taught in home schooling...some of that rather "progressive" compared to what I was taught????
