President Barack Obama has done all of those things — and more.What’s remarkable is what hasn’t happened. These episodes haven’t become metaphors for Obama’s personal and political character — or consuming controversies that sidetracked the rest of his agenda.
It’s a sign that the media’s echo chamber can be a funny thing, prone to the vagaries of news judgment, and an illustration that, in politics, context is everything.
Conservatives look on with a mix of indignation and amazement and ask: Imagine the fuss if George W. Bush had done these things?
And quickly add, with a hint of jealousy: How does Obama get away with it?

Rewrite: Zero's lack of experience and left-winged background needed to be covered-up, so the media focused on his "HOPE and CHANGE" slogan, which allowed anyone/voter to fill-in-the-blanks on what "HOPE and CHANGE" means. Shaking up Washington by making it more like Beijing is what we get.

I have always believed that the media did major damage to the country by sounding the bad economy alarm when it really wasn't. This low consumer confidence can be a self fulfilling prophesy.
The point about the MSM is that, yes, they really do need to ask that question. They really do not see how biased they are (most of them don’t see that anyway).

What if Bush had told the American people to ‘just shut up, and grab a mop to help clean up the mess they had made’? Or had constantly whined about the MSM the way Obama is whining about Fox? Ot had obsessed over personalities like olberman or matthews like Obama is obsessing over Rush, Hannity, Beck and tohers?

More golf, too....also, he's destroyed any chance of an economic recovery, embraced every dictator and enemy of the United States he can find, bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, undercut,undermined, and backstabbed various allies all over the world, and most importantly of all, he has BUSTED THE FEDERAL BUDGET AND TRIPLED THE CURRENT ANNUAL DEFICIT, all in less than a year. The drive-by partisan media shills? They continue to be his cheerleaders.
