so evolution by natural selection is a scientific theory trying to address physical findings, yes? (even if you disagree with the findings)
people/movements making subjective (and I propose ultimately control-oriented political & social manipulations of force)pronouncements and actions regarding the ‘worth’ of certain ‘types’ of people.
I think it’s clear the distinction between ‘darwinism’ and ‘social darwinism.’
I think the big 3 desert religions already have their hands full of people going straight to the source documents trying to justify horrible acts regarding the ‘worth’ of certain ‘types’ of people.
I don’t think religions would appreciate the attempt of tenuous slant-style associations of Satanists, those hearing voices, or others that couldn’t have acted on their ideas if the god idea didn’t precede it.

I have asked you numerous times if Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, and you have refused to answer each time. All Christians confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Not only that, one day you pretend to be a Protestant, the next day you pretend to be a Catholic, all for the purpose of turning protestants and catholics against each other...not for any doctrinal reason, but soley for the purpose of stirring up animosity, division, and hatred. Would you then also absolve Karl Marx of all responsibility for the impact of his political science work on the 20th century? Granted, Darwin did not foresee all that would occur. But he also wrote of how the 'inferior' human races were going to be exterminated by the 'superior' races in the near future of mankind.
While he viewed this as something that would naturally happen (not something that he particularly hoped for or agitated for), voicing such an opinion and describing it in positive terms (as evolutionary progress) does mean bearing some responsibility for subsequent efforts to carry it out.

Last I checked, the Soviets did not hang Darwin posters on the wall. Darwin was not a core element of their political belief system. He wasn't central for the Nazis, either. Genocide happened long before Darwin came around.
