Mafioso, Goon Squad, Communist, Nazi, Jihadi, Democrat politics as usual--whatever you want to call the thuggish tactics of the Obama administration, the very public threats they are making to the news media to not follow the lead of Fox News in questioning Obama's policies and personnel is a direct threat to the freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment.
This morning on the Sunday talk shows, speaking on behalf of President Barack Obama, senior Obama advisers David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel carried on the war initiated by White House communictions director Anita Dunn last week on CNN.
Axelrod appeared on ABC News' This Week, telling George Stephanopoulos:
"A lot of their news programming, it's really not news, it's pushing a point of view. And the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we’re not going to treat them that way."
Chief of Staff Emanuel told John King on CNN's State of the Union that the president himself does not view Fox as a legitimate news network:
...The way the President looks at it, we look at it, it's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective. And that's a different take. And more importantly, is not have the CNNs and the others in the world basically be led and following Fox, as if that, what they’re trying to do is a legitimate news organization..."
Emanuel then went on to deny that the White House is focused on Fox to the detriment of other issues facing Obama:
"I mean the concentration of the White House isn’t about what Fox is doing. It’s a concentration about what does it take to make sure the economy’s moving, creating jobs, helping the economy grow, making sure that we responsibly withdraw from Iraq, making sure the decisions we make on Afghanistan..."
But to accomplish his goals, Obama and his Chicago goons have decided they need to clear the field, in this case Fox News, like they have done throughout their ascendency to power.
Once again, Obama froze out Fox News' Sunday program today with Emanuel appearing on CBS' Face the Nation and CNN, Axelrod on ABC and close aide Valerie Jarrett fielding softballs from David Gregory on NBC's Meet the Press. Former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe appeared on Fox, saying he was briefed by the White House beforehand.
The message is clear: Obey Obama or lose access, get attacked and be culled from the herd. Unspoken, but well understood, is that the Obama administration has the regulatory and investigatory power to destroy those in the news media who get in their way.
What a great idea; imagine the storm that would creat.

There is much discombobulation for those of us who are not under the “strong delusion” that the Lord sends in the later days. Where did they get that, where did that come from, when most all are lies. We see through it, and yet weep for those who don’t.

Sounds to me like he’s telling Stephanapalous not to go on FOX anymore. And telling CNN not to start actually covering news, like FOX does.
It is clear to me that we are being lead or pushed toward a 1,000 foot precipice by Barry the Buffoon. We need to start digging in our heels in every way possible to avoid what the Buffoon has in store for us. Many talk of impeachment and looking into the Buffoon’s past for ACORN related crimes as a way of ridding ourselves of him. There must be at least fifty ways, creative and legal, available to us to move him out.
I hope Murdoch aims both barrels at this “administration.” I hope they look under every rock, turn over every leaf, poke a stick at every ant hill, and shake every tree.

In the beginning I always thoght the media built up hussein for all the $$$$$ of tearing him down later.
These past months reallllly had me wondering about my theory.
Hopefully i was right all along.
I guess I have lost my love for “fellow countrymen” who are presently leading this nation to ruination. I don’t see them as fumbling fools at all. I see a very well thought out and implemented systematical takeover of our country by democrats. The fact that they are literally vilifying conservative leaders and fox news and their media is helping them to do this shows no child like behavior to me. Albeit, in our crazy world we have young teenagers who hold down a young man and pour rubbing alcohol on him and set him on fire and laugh about it. So, maybe your metaphor is correct after all. I am very concerned and losing hope in getting our country back without violence.
BTW, you mentioned your expecting more statesmen like behavior from evil...it is always a sham with evil. Hitler was a bumbling idiot at times...Stalin as well. These were not statesmen, they were brutal and methodical. Anyway, our president got something neither of those thugs got...he got a Nobel Peace Prize. Think about it...he got it not for what he has done, but for what he has said...

I think my confusion goes deeper than phonetics - it coils around spasticity with the keyboard and my tendency toward looking at the next sentence in my mind while banging out the current sentence. I will try to apply the helpful goose device you offer. In the meantime - when I read the sentence you excerpted, well having ‘loose’ there makes me ‘hear’ it as if Ricky Ricardo was saying it....
