Mafioso, Goon Squad, Communist, Nazi, Jihadi, Democrat politics as usual--whatever you want to call the thuggish tactics of the Obama administration, the very public threats they are making to the news media to not follow the lead of Fox News in questioning Obama's policies and personnel is a direct threat to the freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment.
This morning on the Sunday talk shows, speaking on behalf of President Barack Obama, senior Obama advisers David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel carried on the war initiated by White House communictions director Anita Dunn last week on CNN.
Axelrod appeared on ABC News' This Week, telling George Stephanopoulos:
"A lot of their news programming, it's really not news, it's pushing a point of view. And the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we’re not going to treat them that way."
Chief of Staff Emanuel told John King on CNN's State of the Union that the president himself does not view Fox as a legitimate news network:
...The way the President looks at it, we look at it, it's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective. And that's a different take. And more importantly, is not have the CNNs and the others in the world basically be led and following Fox, as if that, what they’re trying to do is a legitimate news organization..."
Emanuel then went on to deny that the White House is focused on Fox to the detriment of other issues facing Obama:
"I mean the concentration of the White House isn’t about what Fox is doing. It’s a concentration about what does it take to make sure the economy’s moving, creating jobs, helping the economy grow, making sure that we responsibly withdraw from Iraq, making sure the decisions we make on Afghanistan..."
But to accomplish his goals, Obama and his Chicago goons have decided they need to clear the field, in this case Fox News, like they have done throughout their ascendency to power.
Once again, Obama froze out Fox News' Sunday program today with Emanuel appearing on CBS' Face the Nation and CNN, Axelrod on ABC and close aide Valerie Jarrett fielding softballs from David Gregory on NBC's Meet the Press. Former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe appeared on Fox, saying he was briefed by the White House beforehand.
The message is clear: Obey Obama or lose access, get attacked and be culled from the herd. Unspoken, but well understood, is that the Obama administration has the regulatory and investigatory power to destroy those in the news media who get in their way.

You, sarcastically, hit it right on the head, Humbug. Fox News IS the real enemy because it regularly and thoroughly exposes what this administration is up to. They can’t sit idly by and let this happen. However, someone in the WH - Anita Dunn? - is too stupid to realize that what she’s done is exactly the opposite of what she intended. It’s that unbelievable ego that makes them believe that everyone will jump to obey their orders. I’m praying it will be their downfall.

I did some research several years back on Soros and found that he had huge stock amounts in Time (including NYTimes) and CBS...wonder who his cronies are that have large stock amounts in ABC and NBC...MSNBC we know GE is there...but the money is in covert hands. That is where the power is...the ones that have the hidden stocks and the hidden money...these people are the “enemies of THE people”! It’s like Progressive Insurance being part of the Soros group against Bush being President and pushed for Obama’s presidency. I find that interesting during this health care debacle.

I would sure like to know what was said. Under normal circumstances, (as if there are any at this point), it wouldn’t surprise me. These guys are so freaked out by truth, and getting caught with people and policies that use to be unamerican...I think they are worse than nixon et al..
The media aren’t going to defend Fox, because they want Fox eliminated.
The networks will be honored to cooperate. After all, he’s our first .....yada yada.

Typos are typos and most of us can excoose them.
These people don’t need to be told. They’ve drank the Kool-Aid. They are seeing their revenues and viewers fall; and still they don’t care. People march in the street against them and they’ve become the laughing stock and still they don’t care. They are watching their papers fold and now there is rumor that NBC will be bought by the very people they are touting as not reporting the news. Still they don’t care.
Very troublesome. This is right out of the communist playbook. Obama making a Chavez like denunciation of a free press by claiming “they are lying”. Same with Castro who keeps dozens of journalists in prison - and frankly it has been the same in the entire horrible communist history. How can Obama willfully walk in their blood filled foot steps - to do what - create a Gulag? What is coming from this? This is one of the most troubling things I have seen from this administration. One of the most un-American things that these people have done! If the main stream media surrenders to this, they are nothing but stooges and useful idiots. Can you imagine - the government tells other news media to ostracize a news outlet that they feel is hostile to it, and they comply! This is the old Pravda. This is Orwell’s nightmare. We are witnessing the rise of Newspeak, and the public is defenseless against the government because the adversarial press has abdicated its role. It is now in league with the “change”, and they are not journalists, but merely propagandists.
The only solution is to fight back, and cover the news where these collaborators fail. To keep shouting back and getting more and more believers, and when they shutdown the internet, we will scream it from the rooftops.

It’s time for Fox to go full bore on the eligibility issue.
