Isn’t it important to understand how the framers interpreted Natural born Citizen to verify what the words were? Of course anyone could translate from the French and we know how the Chitty version in 1833 translated the natural born section.

Blackstone is writing from an English law perspective correct? So his view point is different from Vattel and from that held by the writers of the Constitution.

I should clarify too. I don’t mean literally nutty needing meds nutty. She’s just a typical liberal who ignores what’s bad about socialism, or doesn’t understand it when she see’s it. She tries to express her negative opinions about tea partiers/conservatives.. But doesn’t have any facts to back her comments up. When she get stuck, or fails to have an intellectual response, she will throw out a poorly attempted comedic one-liners to get a laugh from the audience at the expense of conservatives. She defends obama, supports him, and makes that very public.

I thought she was way out of line by attempting to use psychological attacks during her so called interview today. She’s not a psychologist, she’s a former teacher, turned columnist in a magazine and co-host of the view.

She reminds me of bitter person, who will take their ball and run home when she loses..or gets knocked down when playing a game.

Plenty of honest attorneys who would take the case if someone could provide funds. Go ahead. Instead of yelling crazy at this one, seek the truth in some positive way.

I have used an employment, civil, and tax attorney in my life. Two of my friends are attorneys, one civil and one criminal cases. They areall honest and on the ball. If you don’t know an honest attorney, you’re leading a sheltered life.

It’s the nature of being a leftist—there are few circumstances in which you can admit your true beliefs, because your ideology has no intrinsic value.

Especially for Alinskyites. Look at how much Hillary tried to cover up her college thesis on Alinsky. Alinsky was pro-Lucifer. It doesn’t get more absurd than that.

Leftists have chosen the side that loses. The political backlash now happening is the result of leftist policy being forced on a population that expected something mainstream.

Liberals can only win if their ideology is totally disguised. It has no value.

The birther fantasy of "natural born citizen" requiring two U.S. citizen parents, if implemented, would render millions of American born citizens ineligible for the presidency, in essence creating a second class of citizens with less rights those American born citizens whose parents were citizens.

The delusion continues....

Excuse me but you are confusing national security with civil rights. The two are mutually exclusive.

The Founding Fathers understood the risk of having a sitting president with dual loyalties. I wish you and your fellow "after-birthers" allowed this undeniable fact to sink in to your thick skulls because there has to be a unique standard for this particular office. Birth on US soil to two American citizens (naturalized is OK) is the requirement. Period.

There is absolutely NO "civil right" to be US President.

I think I have a Theme Song for us. Just started it about 30 minutes ago. The beat is a little weird 8,10,8,7,7:

Orly on the Run

To the tune of “Seasons in the Sun”
By Terry Jacks

Goodbye Orly, it’s been a hoot
Watching each and ev’ry frivolous suit
Those motions you forgot to sign
Well you thought that was just fine
Til the Judges changed your mind.

Goodby Ms Taiiz. Forget the Law!
You’ve beaten everything I ever saw.
Those documents you said were sworn,
Bout where Obama was born,
Pretty much just legal porn.

We had joy, we had fun
Watching Orly on the run.
And the claims? Take your picks.
Were subject to 12 (b) 6.

Goodby law license, can’t you see?
You’re better off practicing dentistry.
So say goodbye to all your pals,
Hope you’ve paid your legal “mals”
Get back to your root canals!

Good-bye to you, C. O. L. B.
There really wasn’t a conspiracy.
Suspicions do not make a suit.
Something you can not dispute
(Bribing Kenyans isn’t cute.)

We had joy. We had fun.
Watching Orly on the Run.
But you p*ssed off Judge Land
Now you owe him 20 grand.

Goodbye Orly, I hope you learn’t
You can not play in court and not get burnt.
It’s never been the law’s intent,
That even the President,
Has to prove he’s innocent.

Good Bye Orly, I hope you find.
That when you lose a case, Don’t lose your mind!
Do not go call the judge a name.
As excuses go, it’s lame.
It’s yourself you ought to blame

We had joy, we had fun.
Watching Orly on the Run.
But I bet chances are,
She’s in trouble with the Bar.

Hey sleeper troll, I was talking about an attorney to take on Orly’s cause, not one to handle mundane matters that we all have to deal with. Do not twist my words.

Oh neither have I. I am actually quite open to the BC issue, call me an agnostic. The problem I have with this whole thing is not the issue, it is the mouthpiece.

If it's Orly you're referring to, well, frankly I don't know what to think about her. She is a lightning rod for ridicule, to be sure. God bless her...

You may want to divert attention over to Leo Donofrio, as he is absolutely correct that the proper avenue for going after a usurper occupying a national office is the "quo warranto" provision established by Congress. Check out Leo's blog here: http://naturalborncitizen.wordpress.com/ and read up on the progress with Hawaii DoH officials and the potential of a quo warranto in the DC District Court, which is the correct avenue.

As Sgt. Joe Friday said, "just the facts."

Suspicion must be based on evidence and there is no evidence that Momma Obama jetted off the Kenya to give birth to Baby Barack and then smuggled her new born into the United States just in time to have a birth announcement placed in two newspapers.

Straw man. Since we have not seen the long form birth certificate, we don't know if it was a regular hospital birth, or filed as a "home birth". The latter would not require the presence of Momma Obamam or Baby "O", as long as Granny Toot was willing to forge her signature on the form. The actual birth date could be weeks earlier than the one on the form, which would have triggered the newspaper "classifieds" announcement. Or could have been the same date, different place. They'd have the BC, having been mailed to them, as proof of BB's citizenship, so no smuggling required.

"Since YOU are so eager to print her incompetence, please then step up to that plate and do her job better and show us your balls!!!"

Ok. Now we're getting somewhere (I think). What we have here is a failure to communicate AND a misunderstanding.

When I read danamco's post calling for the "show us your balls" comment, I thought it was hilarious and ...pardon my sense of humor, I just had to post NOOOOO! (nothing against YOUR balls...just the thought of ANY balls being shown...oh nevermind).

Bottom line, HG, I think you're a bit oversensitive there and here's where the misunderstandng comes in. For one thing, even tho I've been at FR for years, I was unaware of any protocol or rule that if you're posting to one person you 'also' have to address your post to (you call it "ping") everyone that person addressed THEIR post to. Why would that even be necessary? I thought the only time you "ping" someone is when they have requested that you do so.

I also don't understand what the balls thing has to do with your "queer" accusation in your earlier posts. For you to take what she said and equate that to a "queer" thing...it's really odd and a bit of a stretch. Care to explain?

Bottom line, either you have a sense of humor or you don't. I thought it was funny as hell. Sorry you don't agree. I know I don't always agree with everyone else's sense of humor here, but I sure as hell don't call them out for it or insult them over it.

If I do something intentionally to piss someone off or something even unintentional that I'm unware of... I'll be the first to apologize for it. But in this case, I think it's a matter of you over-reacting. Trust me...if I really wanted to piss you off....

you'd know it....good'n plenty (smile).

How is it that you guys manage to attach ALL kinds of baggage to anyone who thinks Taitz is an incompetent nut? Because it is YOUR goal to kill the ONLY messenger out there instead of the message!

She still has the cohonas that her male partners are lacking!!

Since YOU are so eager to print her incompetence, please then step up to that plate and do her job better and show us your balls!!!

"Straw man. Since we have not seen the long form birth certificate, we don't know..."

You say it's "straw man" then go on to list suspicions.

1. Nobody really knows if Barry is a naturalized citizen, or a US citizen at all for that matter. Citizenship is conferred to a child (as is his last name) by a child's father. Couple that with the fact that this particular child's mother wasn't even old enough to confer citizenship to her son, even if he was actually born in Hawaii

Now THAT rings the bell of the most wacked out theory posted on the thread yet. Could you site something in the constitution or Federal code that supports that.

2. Barry is DEFINITELY not Natural Born. His own admission of British citizenship blows this one out of the water.

Got any courts that will even take a nibble at that including the SCOTUS.?

Barnett v Obama Pre-trial conference January 11, 2010, Trail on January 26, 2010

Has Keyes been in any of the pre-trial hearings to date? I don't think so, since his presene is not required. He can follow the events over the internet, even from a ship. (Although I understand it's pretty expensive), since your wireless link is 22,000 miles up to the switch, and another 22k back down to the wired 'net.)

The cruise was also probably set up before the trial dates were set. Besides, as everyone knows the dates will slip when the government lawyers appeal every decision that is appealable. Starting perhaps with the dismissal of the motion to dismiss, but certainly with any discovery motions and orders. He'll be back in plenty of time.

You liked the Impeach Obama list?

I thought it was a bit vague. I’d have included links, backup docs and specifics. But hey, there’s still time. I hope.

Going back to original intent, it would seem that the Founders expected the electors to satisfy themselves that the candidate they were voting for was in fact eligible, and that the Congress would confirm the eligibility of the electoral vote recipients when the votes were counted before a joint session of Congress.

Perhaps, but these days most electors have no choice but to vote for the candidate to whom they are pledged. Most people don't have a clue which electors they even voted for. It's not on the ballot in most states. They were supposed to be "pillar of the community" types, not unknown political hacks. Even when I voted in a state that did put their names on the ballot, I didn't recognize any of them. Despite having grown up there and those being my 1st and 2nd Presidential elections. ('72 and '76), I voted for electors for Nixon and Ford respectively.
