Well a new sport has emerged, call the "playing the race card".
Rush Limbaugh’s bid to buy the St Louis Rams has drawn fire from the NFL Players Association and actually I am not sure why. NFL Players executive director DeMaurice Smith (from ESPN):
In an e-mail to the union’s executive committee on Saturday specifically addressing Limbaugh’s bid, Smith said, “I’ve spoken to the Commissioner [Roger Goodell] and I understand that this ownership consideration is in the early stages. But sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends. Our sport does exactly that when it overcomes division and rejects discrimination and hatred.”

The RAMS are losing money and the franchise sucks. Rush understands capitalism so I guess the players who don’t understand this because they are morons. Hopefully the whole damned NFL goes down and these overpaid jerks can flip burgers which is about all thier iq’s would allow if it were not for this professional sport.
Boycotting football will be easy. I’ve never paid any attention to it in my life.
I knew something like this was going to go down. The left just can’t live and let live. To the lefties, and to their union goons, politics is life.
This mentality is exhibited every time you want into a bar or a restaurant or a barber shop and the news channel on is CNN. It’s not because everyone clamors for CNN, it’s because of the INTOLERANCE of the lefties. We righties will just smile politely when we see CNN, but lefties literally go into conniptions. They will throw a temper tantrum and whine if they see Fox News.
I remember many years ago with Rush Limbaugh had a TV show. My leechy democrat brother immediately wanted to change the channel and literally started wiggling uncontrollably when the theme music played.

Would this be the same NFL that has about 12 white players? Where is affirmative action when we need it?

The fifty cent word for this is cognitive dissonance. Lab rats do this when some external input begins to interfere with their prior conditioning.

I get the whole cognitive dissonance thing. It’s the INTOLERANCE that aggravates me.
We’re polite to them, they scream at us that we’re murderers.
We oppose tax cuts, they encourage abortion and call us murderers.

Hey, we won one this weekend. Cleveland all the way to the Super Bowl!! I’m now going back to my drig induced haze.
To be fair, Rush was wrong about McNabb. I understood his point at the time, but McNabb, when healthy, is one heck of a QB. Plenty of white QBs have failed to win the big game, or were caried by their D.
