WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama pledged to end the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military in a speech Saturday, but acknowledged to a cheering crowd that the policy changes he promised on the campaign trail are not coming as quickly as they expected.
"I will end 'don't ask-don't tell,'" Obama said at the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, a gay civil rights advocacy group.
He did not give a timetable for the repeal of the law passed by Congress in 1993 and signed by President Bill Clinton, who also promised to repeal the ban on homosexuals in the military but was blunted by opposition in the military and Congress.

There’s a simple solution for this in the military: leave your balls at the gate entrance. Gay or not, drama is a no no when bullets are flying.
But again, just as muslims have invented another Jesus and slapped the name Jesus, he will invent another military and Nobel Peace prize name only institution.

The loss of linguists from the ranks of the military is often cited as an argument for allowing gays to serve. I didn’t know so many linguists were gay, but with the ever-increasing number of contractors doing support work for the military, why can’t the Armed Forces just hire back the linguists as contractors? Plenty of defense companies would love to offer those services, I’m sure. We get our linguists, and the military gets to preserve its culture. Problem solved.
Instead of “don’t ask ask don’t tell” it will be “no homos no way,” right?

Once the queers take it over and get killed, we’ll save a lot of money on AIDS research and medicines. That’s a good thing. So sign them up and sent them to Afghanistan. The muzzies absolutely hate queers, so having them in their territory will be an even bigger affront that just having Americans there.
When you really think about it, sending queers to fight the muzzies would be an extraordinarily in-your-face deliberate insult to them.

One problem that will be solved is the inability to get ballots to our military personnel overseas. Once queers are good to go, there will be MORE THAN ENOUGH......heh-heh......ballots for our overseas military.
What do you mean, how long until transsexuals are allowed?
Where do youo think they plan to get those operations in the first place?
Once they’re accepted openly in the military, the military will be forced to perform and pay for the operations.
He doesn’t and never will apologize to America. We’re Americans. He only apologizes for us, not to us.

If you want to serve your nation, especially considering the state we’re in regarding foreign policy over the past 12 years, it doesn’t make a difference to me what you do in your own privacy as long as it doesn’t affect your performance or the performance of your platoon.
