Certainly Obama must be in the running for the Heisman trophy.

“Don’t forget the Heisman.”

and the Pulitzer, the Peabody, the Caldicott Medal, the Grammy, Emmy, Oscar, Best in Show at Westminster, the U.S. Open, Wimbelton, and the Pillsbury Bake Off. I hear he is a shoe in for Miss America too.

I liked this comment by Tim Marshall, too.
"next year let's give it to Miss World. Every year Miss World comes on and says I want world peace and the world free of nuclear weapons"

You missed Arafat and Carter.

THESE awards are fast becoming a SAD JOKE.

They have successfully diminished any honor or truth to those that receive them. You might as well give my cat the Noble Peace Price and the other obscure award.

Obama is a total FAILURE. I can't rejoice over that FACT.

Woo-Hoo! Great job, Bob!

I wonder if this award will result in the complete discrediting of the Nobel Prize Committee when the s*#t hits the fan.

Just askin'....

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20091009/twl-barack-obama-awarded-nobel-peace-pri-3fd0ae9.html

Sky’s foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said: “There will be people who will say this is a marvellous, inspired, award.

“But next year let’s give it to Miss World. Every year Miss World comes on and says I want world peace and the world free of nuclear weapons. It’s a hope, an aspiration.

“The deadline for nominations for the peace prize was February 1, so someone nominated the President of America for his achievements 11 days into his presidency.

“This is a Nobel Peace Prize for not being George Bush. And I think it has been devalued.”

I agree - he's done as much for football as he has for peace.

He also shot 19 under par, THE FIRST TIME HE EVER PLAYED GOLF (Besting Kim Jung Il by one stroke).

You were going fine until right there. Kim has bested baraq by at least two strokes (and that's just the ones we know about). But we can always hope.

The nominations deadline occurred less than two weeks after Obama was inaugurated! He merited the Nobel Prize for serving eleven days. Please tell me what he did during that time frame?

Remember what he considers a success in the employment arena? Jobs saved. All those who employed right now - your jobs were saved by Obama.

So, that's it. It could have been worse. No Apocalypse, the world has not ended - it's a stunning success of Obama.

And the Kennedy Center award which Obama awarded to himself.

Especially noting he believes there is no better recipient than himself.
