SNIPPET: "NEW HAVEN A 38-year-old man arrested after police discovered a pipe bomb, shotguns, gas masks and other items inside his Mercedes late Tuesday was arrested earlier this year on bombmaking charges in East Haven.
John Iannucci was held at New Haven police headquarters for most of the day on a host of weapons and explosives charges. The arrest could likely complicate the situation on his current court case.
He is due to appear in court on Oct. 22 on the East Haven charges of illegal possession of explosives and illegal bomb manufacturing. He was free on $25,000 bail when he and a second man, identified as Jessup Bollinger, 27, were detained Tuesday night in the citys Fair Haven section."

A New Haven man is under arrest after police found pipe bombs and a weapon in his vehicle late Saturday,
Marlon Reddick, 44 was stopped by West Haven Police last night around 11:00 p.m. in the area of Elm Street and Kimberly Avenue for equipment violations.
During the motor vehicle stop, officers observed a clear plastic bag containing pills in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
After Reddick claimed no knowledge of the pills, the officers asked him to exit the vehicle as they continued their investigation, according to a police report.
As officers searched the vehicle, they discovered a duffle bag behind the front seat. An officer observed a metal cylinder from the duffle bag and upon closer inspection observed it to have a wick. The officers believed the item was an explosive, and immediately removed themselves and Reddick from the area.
The immediate area was shut down to local and highway traffic while New Haven Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to the scene. The bomb squad located two improvised explosive devices in the duffle bag and confirmed they were homemade bombs. The bomb squad rendered the devices safe.

Ya think?
....was previously arrested on bombmaking charges....?
Someone in New Haven is seriously screwing up......=.=
This has been blown out of proportion.
Third time’s the charm I hear.
SHOVE A PIPE BOMB UP HIS @&&!
This reminds me of the infamous Bank of America, N. Hollywood shootout and robbery.
The same two goons had been arrested several months previously with Bombs, automatic weapons, etc. in their car. They were arrested and the ATF. were too lazy to show up so the local cops turned them loose after a few days?.
“....was previously arrested on bombmaking charges....?”
“
I bought fireworks in Pennsylvania last June for the 4th of July when I was there for a Christian show. I sing in a Baptist church in West Haven, solos and with the choir, he said. It was not a bomb. It was a hand-throwable firework.
Iannucci admitted he altered the fireworks to make them launchable, but felt he was not doing anything illegal. He said the fireworks were in his car because he was transporting them to dispose of them.
I threw a cigarette out the window and it came back in and somehow set one of the fireworks off, Iannicci said.
Iannucci was shocked by the number of authorities that showed up to search his home, including the FBI.
Im no bomb-maker. I grew up with law enforcement in the family. My father was a police officer, he said. “
I think his “somewhat” plausible explanation just went to hell in a handbasket.
O Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling.
Yes, and that photo goes with post no. 5 (”Marlon Reddick, 44”)
Thank you Blam.
I would agree with your end assessment. ;-)
When child cartoon characters go bad ... they go all the way bad.

And he’s out on bail, again? WTF?
Last I remember of that strip he was protesting with "Kids Lib" signs and being forced to make his own cereal.
Cheers!
