Obama Olympics- Vanity
Vanity

Posted on 10/02/2009 7:33:20 AM PDT by Poopyhead

Does anyone think that Obama would have taken a chance on the trip if he didn't already know Chicago had won?

"US President Barack Obama will travel to Copenhagen to support the bid by the city of Chicago to host the 2016 Olympic Games, the White House says."

I now hate the olympics, instead of a great world event more and more it represents corruption and disgusting behavior like buying hookers for IOC people.

Well, the IOC and the Daley Chicago Political Machine DO HAVE similarities. LOL. Dear Leader knows that kind of environment...

Must be a slam dunk. I lived in Chicago a few decades ago. I can't imagine the Olympics being held there. Obama wouldn't risk any more personal capital if he wasn't sure he would win. He CAN'T STAND losing and this loss would be an International one. 2016 must be going to Chicago.

Sean Hannity has been stating that all week - that “the fix is in”, or he wouldn’t risk going over there to begin with!

There is no way, judging by the recent videos, that anyone is safer in Chicago than they are in Brazil. No Way.

Okay, but it’s not as if the leaders of the other countries stayed home. I am hoping Rio gets it.

Laura Ingraham and Byron York are convinced that Chicago has it in the bag. They agree that he wouldn’t risk being shot down.

That's what I was thinking. Shouldn't they be praising him for his sacrifice?

Yep, your tax stimulus dollars at work, so that a few people can enrich themselves.

The good news? Mayer Daily said Chicago would not be charged one penny for it. Isn't that swell? (Ack!)

We could both look like fools in a couple of hours, but I agree with you. It's the same thing he's doing with HealthCareReform™ — he really believes that he is so personally wonderful and persuasive that if he just talks long enough, people will give him anything he wants.

Of course he can't do that. Only Bill Clinton can do that :)
