I now hate the olympics, instead of a great world event more and more it represents corruption and disgusting behavior like buying hookers for IOC people.

Not from the BBC. The poster inserted his question improperly.<p<In answer to the question though...I’d say yes. I can believe that obama is narcissistic and arrogant enough to believe that he can force a decision for Chicago based on his personal charisma alone irregardless of what the committee may already be thinking. Any other President would’t bother unless they knew it was a done deal. Obama posseses a degree of arrogance we’ve never seen before.
