This should go viral! Do everything you can to get it out.
Ill be honest, I dont care for the demeanor of the call. I just wont like to hear someone frantically relating their thoughts even if I agree with them.
Seems when one gets to rare opportunity to be on air...seems there is so much to set forth and so little time. I too discerned Susan to be frantic, hurried and quite out of breath. But I also discerned her to be genuinely fearful for the course this country is headed. Her fears, for her country/family's present/future were well expressed.
One has to realize Rush doesn't give his callers much time to 'flesh out' a thought, a concept, a plea. I believe if Susan had known the time available to her, she would have articulated with a more slow deliberation.

Chuck Norris, President of Texas
(not sure we’ll make it until 2012)
That’s a fair and reasoned observation too. I can’t argue with you. Take care.
Well, there are plenty of us. Always have been.
Yes, of course. I remember her. Thanks for the reminder.
I had not realized she was from Glendale, or perhaps I’d forgotten that too.
You bet ya:)
Now, where are all the FR California bashers???
I tuned out too soon today... my loss:-(
John Bolton, National Security Advisor.
Emotional appeals that involve anger, are much more appealing to me than this type of presentation. With that said, I don’t want it to sound like I think she was acting or something. I just don’t like the simpering mode of complaint.
Righteous indignation goes a lot farther than complaints through tears. One of the memories seared in my mind forever is the face of that Frenchman upon seeing his nation occupied by the Germans, so my thoughts on this are not universal. (I think it was the occupation and not liberation, but I could be wrong.)
That’s an interesting point. I think you’re probably on to something there.
No. She didn’t kiss ass. She said it makes her sick to think she might have to kiss ass to get health care for her kids. There is a difference. And you have to realize, this is a MOM. She will kill on behalf of her young. If she had to do anything for their survival, she would.
That is one post worthy of it’s own thread.
Bump to Susan!!!
am listening to part 2 right now. BUMP!!
Maybe someone will look up Obamas citizenship file at State, and refuse him re-entry into the USA from Copenhagen.
ATC: "Ooops sorry Air Force One, you are denied landing permission on Runway 048.The USA is closed to you. We divert you to Nairobi, Kenya."
Thank you, listening now.
I don’t understand the poster who said Susan was simpering and not angry enough. I clearly hear anger in her voice but it is enveloped within passionate love for this country. Which is why so many of us identify with her.
Seriously? Re-listen...she said she’d do it. But I don’t care about that. I’m mom. I get it. She’s scared for her kids. But her current mental state as evidenced by her rambling may help you feel solidarity with her, but it does h-e-l-p the movement.
