A special prosecutor is already being eyed amid a burgeoning scandal in Troy over the alleged forgery of absentee ballots in this months Working Families Party primary. The scandal is focused on suspicions people tied to the Troy Democrats forged ballots.
News of the fakes surfaced in Saturdays edition of the Times Union. The details were eye opening because so many voters interviewed by the Times Union said they didnt vote despite ballots cast in their name. Voters said their signatures had obviously been forged and comparisons between their registration cards and the ballot applications showed distinctly different signatures.
Today, Senior Writer Brendan J. Lyons reports:
A special prosecutor is expected to be appointed Monday to investigate widespread allegations of voter fraud linked to dozens of absentee ballots on the Working Families Party line in the city.
Two people familiar with the case, which was first publicly exposed in Saturdays Times Union, said Rensselaer County Judge Robert Jacon may make the appointment. Last week, District Attorney Richard McNally, a Democrat, privately notified the court that his office would recuse itself from the investigation, the sources said.

ACORN fraud ping.
Time to send out the squirrels to eat them up.
It looks like ACORNs “lawyers” are going to be busy filing another “lawsuit”. LOL!
FReep mail me if you want on/off the list.
Without a special prosecutor, I see very little to stop ACORN/SEIU.
This stuff is getting insane. It’s like the devil got ACORN going as a front, then took it over.
This is a common democrat scam.
Democrats working in the local Supervisor of Elections office scan the data base for registered voers with a history of not voting.
Democrats then turn in fraudulent absentee ballots in those names.
Unless the real voters try to submit a legitimate vote no one is the wiser.
Here is the kicker - if the fraudulent vote is entered first the real vote is not accepted.
In that case the second vote is rejected and the real voter has to file a complaint with the local Supervisor of Elections.
If that person is a democrat guess what happens to the complaint.
Either way, most of the fraudulent votes get counted.
Obama did not win in 2008, they stole that election. I don’t think we will ever prove it, but ACORN stole that election.
Obama *IS* ACORN.
When Obama met with ACORN leaders in November, he reminded them of his history with ACORN and his beginnings in Illinois as a Project Vote organizer, a nonprofit focused on voter rights and education. Senator Obama said, "I come out of a grassroots organizing background. That's what I did for three and half years before I went to law school. That's the reason I moved to Chicago was to organize. So this is something that I know personally, the work you do, the importance of it. I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work.

I demand a revote!!! Seriously, this is getting beyond madness. What are the consequences for this? —for acorn, for the actual election results? Anything?
Hate to be ignorant. But what happens if a national investigation of ACORN determines that Obama didn’t take some of these states? Does he get impeached? Then we get Biden or Pelosi? Ouch! Or a new election? This is going to become way way to intricate for the typical non-involved American to follow, I fear
Always a sham investigation after the fact and nothing happens.
This is why obama didn’t want acorn investigated and we all know it. I want action, and consequences...starting with him being held accountable for his association with acorn!
