Talking about tea-parties. My grandma is 101. For the April 15 th (my birthday) tea party here, my neice, brother, me and all were going. We told her, "You don't have to go if you don't want to." She said, "Oh I'M going! I want to!" We made all our signs. After the protest, we had a good time, and then went out to eat (what a great birthday)...she called everyone she knew and told them she was at a protest and IT WAS FUN!

I agree about FreeRepublic. One of the first Tea Parties was in Orlando in March and we, FreeRepublic, were prominently represented.

So I sit here, home....Kaitlyn at my side playing with Bendaroos. She made a lollipop, made me take a pic of it.

She says she don’t like Obamer. She doesn’t want to repeat that he wants to kill her grandmothers.

The electronics store that just went bankrupt - ummmm a - dang can't think of the name! I walked into one and a salesman attached himself to me like a leach - I never returned to one of their stores!

That's true - it was a groundswell of contributions that really got things going. I do believe, however, that Rick Santelli's speech on the trading floor may have served as a spark to ignite people into acting.
