Security: An Iranian mullah once said "a world without America and Zionism" was a real possibility. Our sellout of Eastern Europe and missile defense brings that dream closer to reality. It would take only one warhead.
He added that Iran had a strategic "war preparation plan" for what it called "the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization."
A simple Scud missile, with a nuclear warhead, could be fired from an inconspicuous freighter in international waters off our coast and detonated high above America.
This is where the Airborne Laser aircraft program, canceled by this administration, would come in handy.
Or it could be an upgraded Shahab launch, masked as a satellite attempt and flying over where the European defense sites would have been. It would wreak near total devastation on America's technological, electrical and transportation infrastructure.
The threat is called electromagnetic pulse. Sen. John Kyl, R-Ariz., calls it the one way we could lose the war on terror. As he notes, a single nuclear warhead, detonated at the right altitude, would interact with the Earth's atmosphere, producing an electromagnetic pulse radiating to the surface at the speed of light.

That is the world without the USA. Russia owns half, China owns half, the word freedom is banned, as is any pretense to it. The ruling elite live super luxury lives not seen since Cesarean Rome and the rest of the world toils in abject poverty.
Have you seen this? THIS is what Bill Ayers & co had (has) envisioned for this country:

By comparison, Nevile Chamberlin was a patriot.
We have nuke subs out there as well as nuclear armed surface ships. Iran would be signing its death warrant. Of course it will matter not since the world will likely go up in flames anyway
Making a list and checking it twice.
And NO RELIGION too !
I read a book last month about this very scenario. It’s titled... One Second After by William Forstchen. Good read. Scary, scary stuff tho. Can hardly imagine what it would be like having to try and live in 1880’s type of conditions.
With most electrical systems in the USA fried by the EMP, getting food & water will be impossible for most people. Stores & banks will be closed for weeks or months; debit & credit cards will be useless. Even cash might not pay for what you need, even if you could find someone willing to sell it to you.
An EMP attack will make Katrina look like Thanksgiving, only it will encompass much of the USA. There will be few working vehicles, so no significant relief effort can be made by the gov't.
The police will be as helpless as the citizens. Their cars, phones, & radios will not work either. Anyone who cannot defend & sustain themselves for weeks or months will likely die in the resulting chaos.
Probably the only people who will survive in relative comfort & security will be Obama & his friends.
Hell! The man practically TOLD us he was going to destroy the US! The people who voted for this man have to be among the most STUPID people on earth.
Yep. I saw that video before the election where he talked about emasculating the military and getting rid of the nuclear weapons.
I did not believe the USA would elect a man like that. I still cannot believe it.
He didn’t practically tell us.. He outright told us. I blame the dumbed-down dummies who voted for him and now regret it the most.
I'm not going to let them off that easy.
I contend that they're COMPLICIT, and anyone who voted for 0bama is an enemy of the United States.
That’s why you have your option 2. Don’t plan to hang around. Have a private plane or a boat ready, get the hell out fast.
I try to envision an America w/o the world. OK. maybe a few countries like those in the Anglosphere, Israel and Vatican City can hang around.
Yes, way overdue.
Hmmm. Probably easier to build a Faraday cage around a car or two, than a boat or a plane. Or for that matter, around just a couple of spare Bosch K-Jetronic ignitions, etc.
Canada would prob. be your destination of choice: language, abundant hydroelectric, and the Athabaska Tar Sands and Alberta oil patch to support the economy. That and the northern end of the wheat belt, which goes all the way up to the Peace River country. But you'd probably want to be on the other side of the Rockies anyway: more temperate over there, if soggier.
Someplace like Prince Rupert. Vancouver'd be too close to what was left of the States.
Coastal Alaska would work on the same terms -- U.S. Government, no firearms hassles. And no shortage of gasoline in Valdez.
“Envisioning A World Without America”
It’s already been done:
“Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley
“1984” by George Orwell
“Animal Farm” - George Orwell
IMHO, if you don't keep at least a couple of month's worth of food stored, and a couple of guns to defend it, you are a fool.
If 0bama lets this happen, he and his cronies probably won't live very long afterwards anyway, at minimum he will always be on the run trying to stay away from an angry lynch mob.
That picture fills me with loathing and rage every time I see it.
The president of the US should NOT be reading about the “Post American World”.
The president of the US should be doing everything he can to ensure there is no “Post American World”.
Nah, I think heading North is a bad option. Freezing to death doesn’t appeal to me. Go somewhere warm, where if there is no power, you won’t freeze. Caribbean islands, Panama, places like that.
