Here is a poll question as to whom Freepers prefer to be the POTUS. The list is fairly extensive, but even at that there will be those who's choice is not listed. It does however have the usual suspects and category for other.
Interesting thing about this poll is John McCain is not on the list. Doe anyone really think he will even attempt top run?

What in Heaven's name are you talking about? Duncan is a conservative. Your twisting of things to serve China etc. is reprehensible.

I picked Duncan Hunter, but it was tough because I really like Sarah Palin too.

The way that would work would be for Sarah to get the nomination then for her to ask Hunter to be her running mate.

Duncan Hunter joined the teamsters in opposition to NAFTA. Do a search. He made union ties one of his big campaign issues.

I guess we are just too damn stupid to realize that Sarah Palin is not ready. and does not have enough experience for the national stage.
I must say that this is backing up what I already believed, however many Libertarian type Freepers are going to be very disappointed with all the support Sarah has here.
But as you said we are just "too damn stupid to realize that Sarah Palin is not ready.
Watch her bowl over Obama during the election in November 2011 like Reagan did over Carter in 1979.

Yeppers. Just tie an anchor around her neck and toss it overboard.

Thanks for the ping!
Right now, I'd choose Palin/Jindal or Palin/Perry. Either would be double governors in response to the present double senators. And there are other governors who might work in the veep spot.
However, the most proven conservative (social and fiscal) should on the top of the ticket as a reform to the present liberal/liberal administration.

"If she runs, great. Ill vote for her absent someone better. But Ill be damned if Ill grovel and worship her."
Agreed. Although, I believe Duncan Hunter would be far and away the best choice for President.

I don't believe anyone is worshiping her. Are conservatives excited that they have someone they can finally vote for? Hell, yes! Strong conservative outspoken leadership has been lacking for so long, that you may be interpreting excitement for worship.
My two concerns are:
1. how destroyed our nation will be by 2012; and,
2. that she may not run
To: Dead Corpse
Did a double take on that one. We don’t want this to be taken as a physical threat to the Bummer, now.
