Here is a poll question as to whom Freepers prefer to be the POTUS. The list is fairly extensive, but even at that there will be those who's choice is not listed. It does however have the usual suspects and category for other.
Interesting thing about this poll is John McCain is not on the list. Doe anyone really think he will even attempt top run?

...but I really dont see how her resignation is going to go over well. That's because you failed to understand her reasoning for doing so and continue to not understand it. Read her words and not what others are saying and it's very easy to understand.

I’m going to have to check this guy out.
I’m probably even more sick of authoritarian neocons than you are!

I prefer Mrs. Palin at this point. I also prefer that the GOP get off their collective RINO a$$es and close the primaries to Republican voters only. I don't want a candidate picked by the left or by wishy-squishy RINO types.

I second that ticket.

Too many Freepers view Sarah as THEIR Obamassiah. No FReepers think that. The difference is that FReepers believe that Palin will govern with freedom and Constitutionally congruous policy in mind and not for something they think they will get in return. Do you see the difference? If she is the savior of anything it will be the freedom of our Republic.

Obamaization of the economy includes massive unionization. I’m not talking about teamsters and AFL unions, I am talking about the SEIU. He is just stringing the AFL along until he gets what he wants.
There is an excellent article on NRO, called Adult fables or Fables for Adults. All of you union voters need to read it.

I kind of agree with you, but I also like Haley Barbour.I was a fan until he turned out to out to not be very respectful of property rights. He comes down on the side of Kelo. Barbour believes it's OK to force someone at the point of a gun from their property in the interest of increased tax revenue.

Also conspicuously missing: Dick Cheney, Cheney can never be elected President. His health is too fragile. I'm rather surprised that this issue hasn't been brought up either pro or con on Obamacare.
The most concrete issue people could bring up against President Reagan was regarding his age.
I do not believe we are a racist nation. I do not believe we are a sexist nation. But we'll never elect a president in poor health.

This is the first I heard this. If you are correct then i will back away from supporting him, but I need more evidence than you just saying it.
Do you have links for me to check out? It is lunch here and I will check back when I get back.

I can’t parse your response. One of President Reagan’s most memorable acts was the firing of the unionized ATCs who went out on strike.

I agree completely with your assessment of Sarah.
But just a congressman? He's stood in the breach against an onslaught of despicable leftist legislation for years. We need many more congressmen like him - and one president.

Cheney can never be elected President.
Neither could most of the people constantly brought up on lists like this, including both Duncan Hunter and Sarah Palin.
