Likewise, it has been held that a member could not: call the President a liar. call the President a hypocrite. describe the Presidents veto of a bill as cowardly. charge that the President has been intellectually dishonest. refer to the President as giving aid and comfort to the enemy. refer to alleged sexual misconduct on the Presidents part.

Wooohooooo! So much for Congress censuring Joe Wilson! He didn't break the rules! Now if he'd said,
President Obama is the biggest liar on the planet and his pants will cause major wildfires out in California!"--yeah, that would be bad. But "You lie!" not so much. ;-)

The only thing Wilson did wrong is apologize.
If only more men in Congress would stand up, maybe we could put the country back into the hands of We The People.

Since these words in quotes are supposed to be specifically banned words or phrases, then Wilson did not violate the rules. He did not call Obummer a “liar”. He only said “you lie”.
I know it may be semantics, but it isn’t any different than the dems saying that Reid can call Bush a liar just because it was not during Bush’s speech or that they can heckle and boo Bush during his speech because they didn’t say the words.

Found this on FoxNews website:
RAW DATA: Text of Wilson Resolution The following is a copy of the House resolution to discipline Rep. Joe Wilson for his outburst during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress.
"Whereas on September 9, 2009, during the joint session of Congress convened pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution 179, the President of the United States, speaking at the invitation of the House and Senate, had his remarks interrupted by the Representative from South Carolina, Mr. Wilson; and Whereas the conduct of the Representative from South Carolina was a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House:
Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the House of Representatives disapproves of the behavior of the Representative from South Carolina, Mr. Wilson, during the joint session of Congress held on September 9, 2009."

He's accurate, not innocent. He is being reprimanded under the terms of the Constitution which allows each House to determine their Rules of Conduct. Regardless the spineless GOP never held Dems to the same standards, he did demonstrate disorderly behavior.
He owes nothing to anyone, whatever they demand is worthless. But for the fact that it allows all manner of opportunity for us to point out the utter hypocrisy of Democrats and the fact that 0bama is constantly lying when he makes these speeches, not the least of which, his outrageous defamation of the nation's pediatricians and GP's.
Whatever happens, Wilson is going to come out of this just fine, an emotional outburst is not going to cost him anything. Rather, it is going to make him the most well-funded man running for re-election in 2010.
