Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens).

They need our help. Maybe we cannot repeat an assembly of 2 million mad-as-hell taxpaying patriots in one place, but surely those who longed to go and couldn't would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?" I'll bet for every one patriot who went to D.C. there are 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.

I like that idea. I also like the fact that there are no massive logistics problems to solve, FReepers can do somethig like this around our own schedules, singly or in small groups. Might I also suggest that short, pithy signage would also be VERY visible in those outdoor shots on shows like The Today Show (alongside the Gadsden flags)?

I've called them the mass media for over ten years now, because I'm mainstream and they ain't talkin to me. I noticed Rush has been calling them the mass media lately also.

Yep, perfect place for a rally — heavy traffic on those streets — Sunset and Vine.

Then right nearby there’s Burbank with ABC and NBC — CBS is close to the CNN site — just a block from Farmer’s Market/Grove.

Surely we could get some decent crowds at these sites based on how we did at the Westwood federal building last Saturday, 9/12.
