Just thought I would pass along a couple images that left a lasting impression. The first is actually from a video which I have included. Porta potties.

I wasn't there, sadly; had to work to pay my bills. I am so very, very thankful that so many people were able to go and represent me so well. Thanks to all who went. You are PATRIOTS!!!

I read on the 912dc website that they were requesting people to post their photos on http://www.flickr.com/ and tag your photos with the search tag 912dc. This morning when I got home from work, there were nearly 1500 images. Tonight, there are nearly 4,000!

Here are some of the ones that caught my eye, my heart, and the media lying.

Many crowd shots.
Many fabulous signs!
Many shots of the cops. They look comfy, not at all worried by the "mob" - no riot gear, no nightsticks. LOL!
Many costumes.
Many shots inside the metro - HUGE CROWDS!! I can't wait to see Metro's ridership total for that day.
