Please post your updates from D.C. and from news reports here as well as your photos of the day.
Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.
Photos and video taken by This Ain'tHell taken in daylight before the bulk of the crowd showed can be viewed here.

The brave American people in DC today are giving me a large amount of encouragement. Thank you for the good CSPAN link.

Me neither. I promised dad a year ago if he’d get better I’d take him to a football game...We picked the date and ordered the ticket long before the event in DC was planned.....Just getting home and FR is REALLY slow to down load....FOX isn’t covering it now and Cspan is not coming in either.....How did it go?

This is what I 'shopped' before the rally Oh, no. The dems are going to pick this up and say we are faking crowd photos.

My daughter took that picture using a camera phone above a postal bldg? She was with Wendy Wright from Concerned Women.
Still waiting to hear from her about the day.

I watched the whole thing and didn't get a single thing I had planned to do done.
Time well spent, I'd say!

Contract law. Contracts is a bedrock principle of free people.

Agreements made by separate parties. Rules agreed upon. These are not rights granted but inalienable. We know that.

All he needs is a powdered wig and a colonial outfit and hed look like George Washington. LOL So, I'm not the only one here who noticed that? Andrew has a certain Founding Fathers look about him, doesn't he?
Must be because he's a patriot from the inside, out.

I have watched the video at c-span. I am very impressed with this event. All of the speakers were well worth listening to. But I think the best speaker was Congressman Mike Spence. He has a commanding speaking style. And he can very effectively articulate the important issues. I particularly like his line: "It's time that Washington, D.C., becomes a No Czar Zone." That's a brilliant line.

That is wonderful .. thanks so much for posting!
My heart breaks for the farmers in CA’s Central
Valley. It’s CRIMINAL... UNCONSCIONABLE, what
our own government is doing to them .. shutting off
their water, starving their livestock, drying up
their fields, putting them out of business and
literally killing their livelihoods. Praying, dear
Lord .. for a solution and an end to this madness.

Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today, carrying signs with slogans such as Obamacare makes me sick as they protested the presidents health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending. The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.

I was in my nightie all day too, until I had to bathe and take a ride with hubby, he couldn’t believe how long I stayed in bedroomshire attire
I didn't see anyone opposing us. Did anyone see any counter protesters?
