Please post your updates from D.C. and from news reports here as well as your photos of the day.
Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.
Photos and video taken by This Ain'tHell taken in daylight before the bulk of the crowd showed can be viewed here.
Free Republic 9/11 Candlelight Vigil from Washington DC
Ok, can someone tell FOX NEWS IS BREAKING IN WITH O AT HIS RALLY IN MINNESOTA?!?!?!?!?!
Now I'm monitoring both programs.
God bless YOU, Patriots! You're all beautiful! .....wish I was there!
Reading the posts and looking at the photos brings tears to my eyes.
These are two very emotional days.

Mason Weaver: “I thought you’d like to hear a black man speak to you without a teleprompter”. ROFL ;^D
WOOOOHOOOO! Mason Weaver gets a dig in on “O” right off the bat!
Rush explained it some time ago, this is a true grassroots movement. It needs the freedom to grow unencumbered by “celebrity” leaders. (my interpretation of what he said)
Black Gentleman speaking, “I thought you’d like to see a black man speak without a teleprompter”
LOve it!
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. , center, is flanked by Rome's Mayor Gianni Alemanno, as they leave the Campidoglio, or Capitol Hill, in Rome, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. Pelosi is in Rome on the occasion of a summit of G8 house speakers.
WOW, inspiring! I think I'll use that as my tagline...thanks for posting!
Hah! A black man speaking without a teleprompter.
Mason Weaver: “How’s that hope and change working out for you now?”
Rope and Chains, not Hope and Change
ROFLMAO!!
I have seen no confederate flags, however, I don’t buy the Marxist’s defination of what that flag means. It means the tenth amendment to most who wave it! So it does not bother me if there are confederate flags there.
Well, it's about twice as large as the so-called "Million Man March" and about six times larger than MLK's March on Washington.
It's pretty damn big and I can't be prouder of my countrymen.
Real Americans Rock!
No one would love it more than me (ok, there’s millions just like me) but this is the time for the people to speak.
I started laughing! Hell yeah!
