Don’t assume that everyone is as immature as you. Typical Evo mistake.

“So, back in Moses' time, a day was exactly 24 hours long?” [excerpt]
Did I say 'exact 24 hour day'?

No, I said regular 24 hour day.

IOW, 1 rotation of the earth. (but you knew that)

And yet another person who has taken what I said out of context.

How so?

How do YOU know what MOSES was thinking when he decided to put the 'concepts' God passed to him into words for his 'flock' to understand???

If a 'day' was only 12 hours back during Moses' time, instead of 24, how would we even know?

It isn't 24 hours even to this day, and it is changing.

Measurements of 'time' have changed over the centuries.

There weren't always 12 months to a year.

If I have gotten way off base, pull me back in line to what you were trying to say.

Your evo-religion has permeated virtually every field of science. You don’t notice it anymore because you surrendered your soul to the Temple of Darwin long ago.

The post to which you replied to does not address the age of the Earth. (Try to pay attention)

That is the subject of the thread, and it does illustrate that it is possible for someone to misunderstand. One side must be misunderstanding.

We’ve also discovered that time is relative to where the observer is located.

A nice big ol’ gravity well would sure change the perspective of time passage.

Mind you, I’m not arguing for “billions of years”,
just saying that the observer’s location is relevant.

See. This is what happens. Instead of debating the subject of the thread, we get endless personal attacks.

Great, just great.

No kidding.

Magnetic field decay also is not linear.

So that applied when it was written, but changed after the crucifixion of Christ.

I thought you said that the word of God did not change.

Geeze, what didn't that guy corrupt?

Quantum physics, unless I'm missing a creationist article out there somewhere. The most I've seen is them calling some quantum concepts heretical ("heretical" in these days! Thankfully they can't burn anybody anymore).

Thank you. I accept that Moses understood that by ‘day’ he meant from Sunup to Sunup (or 1 rotation of the Earth).

You said “Moses UNDERSTOOD” that is what God meant by one day.

How can you insist you know what Moses understood, or what God was trying to convey?

You are still misconstruing the context what I said.

The fact is, if God speaks to you, it is impossible for you to misunderstand Him.

I never said it was impossible for people to misconstrue/misunderstand the bible. (people do that all the time, often intentionally)

just saying that the observer’s location is relevant.

I couldn't agree more.

So far, the 'observations' preclude that Earth is the 'center' of the Universe.

Of course, that is based on observations that have only taken place from Earth.

Wonder what the conclusion would be if the observations were taken from a planet in a galaxy at the farthest known reach of the Universe?

LOL, Army elite training, such as when they teach you how to become park Rangers, doesn’t even rise to the level of Marine Corps basic. About the most you and your berrypicking comrades in the Army learned in your Army flip-flop camp was how to wake up just after sunrise, make your bed, eat a luxurious breakfast, and then read Army field manuals for the rest of the day. If you were a real man, you would have manned up and joined the USMC!

So, its the YECers fault if an Evolutionary minded person decides to place their faith in a billions of years old Earth, instead of God and His Word? The age of this planet is not a matter of faith, it is established fact. If the Earth was only 6000 years old, then explain to me why there are so many visible stars in the sky at night, most much more than 6000 light years away.
