We’ve also discovered that time is relative to where the observer is located.

A nice big ol’ gravity well would sure change the perspective of time passage.

Mind you, I’m not arguing for “billions of years”,
just saying that the observer’s location is relevant.

I couldn't agree more.

So far, the 'observations' preclude that Earth is the 'center' of the Universe.

Of course, that is based on observations that have only taken place from Earth.

Wonder what the conclusion would be if the observations were taken from a planet in a galaxy at the farthest known reach of the Universe?
