A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."
Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called "I pledge" on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, "Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other." The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.

That creepy video first came out shortly after the election. Remember, we all were simultaneously crying and laughing at it: It’s frightening but so completely ridiculous both at the same time.

That’s great news about the school and the principal!
I know that’s a tremendous weight off of you and your wife’s shoulders.
My grands don’t start school until the 9th.
And, they are in a private Christian school.
heh

America was once a country of individuals. Now they are a group of blind sheep who worship their inept king.

I voted in that poll, and almost immediately got a notice that my computer was under attack. SirKit checked it out, and said it was an ad, posing as a virus warning. Did anyone else get that little window of warning? Not at this site, but I've had that ad appear before. I think my virus program routinely blocks it now that it has learned what it is.
I don't know what they're thinking. I would never respond positively to such an ad.

I don't know what they're thinking. I would never respond positively to such an ad. I was startled by it, because I don't know enough about how the virus protection thingy works on my computer. I depend on SirKit to chase all those monsters away. ;o)
