Parents upset over 'leftist propaganda' video

A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."

Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called "I pledge" on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, "Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other." The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.

Either 0bama is totally free from any knowledge of this fact or he thinks he's more deserving and special so this time it will work.

If the press fails to pick this up and give it the scrutiny it deserves then there will soon be no free press in the country.

It’s almost a certainty that this will be in the mandatory Sept. 8 presentations in public schools. The families in our church whose kids attend public school will be observing Sept. 8 as P.A.S.S. Day, and doing an out-of-school educational event instead.

Let's just think for a moment about the sheer stupidity of the person who is running this school. She didn't even bother to preview something she was going to show to the kids.
