Use to do home health care for my S I L's grandmother, she was 94 and in good health, lived in her own house but needed a little help...she use to say "Why am I still alive", then she'd laugh...She lived 2 more years. Had quite a sense of humor, but still didn't find living that long a blessing...For those that are not in good health, or living in their own feces in a nursing home, it is not a blessing, but a curse.
How many really want to live to be 100? I wonder...
Might explain why I prefer whisky. Guid Scots whisky. *\;-)
I agree. Now if they had said to drink 8 cups of coffee a day, that would be about right. But 8 cups of plain water? Blech.
Me to! LOL
LOL! I love it... but you are right you have to live a little.
Inspired by this article I’m having a Big Mac and a cup of coffe plus some donuts for dessert.
Well that has certainly worked better than drinking a crap load more water than one needs!
I would also recommend using a parachute regularly when jumping out of planes.
LOL! That’s great!
Okay, we’ll celebrate your sixtieth birthday for you, graveside.
I had to look and see if my husband posted this...as he knows the sayings by heart!
Shiner beer had a funny billboard years ago, “Shiner Beer, Goes Through Hundreds of Quality Czechs daily”!
LOL
I read once that a good way to determine if you are drinking the right amount of liquids is by the color of your urine. If dark red, not enough. If clear, too much. So a light yellowish color then is what to aim for (besides the center of the bowl, i mean).

___________________________________________________________ Now speaking ss a 24 year old trapped in a 76 year old body I got the liquid covered by 4 a cup of tea...4 cups of black coffee... 8 oz of Red Wine and 1 diet root beer
6 7 small meals 2 of them just before bed
Then there is the 1 step out the front door or if I'm feeling fat I use the 3 steps off the deck. For sit ups I have a jacked up 4X4 to spring into to drive to the wine store.
For meditation I find a thread with a flame war that I can join in or I try to learn how to over come my urge to smash my Nikon when I forgot everything glock taught me. I think the humor speaks for itself
My bit of advice... stay away for anything that has high fructose on the label
Wow, I'm going to live forever...
Oh.
It said "meditation."
I try to learn how to over come my urge to smash my Nikon when I forgot everything glock taught me.
If I hear you have done anything unseemly with that Nikon, I'll be paying you an attitude adjustment visit, irrespective of your state's silly laws.
