Don’t believe it.
I don’t really think it will be out of the picture until we can get this administration out of office.
Exactly.
Compromise isn't an option. This bill, and the adminstration that spawned it, have to go.
Dont believe it.

Hell no! Don’t trust them at all.
Exactly someplace in their compromise bill will be a clause or section to allow what they could not legislatively get to be imposed bureaucratically.
Yep, to them it’s a can’t-lose strategy. Simultaneously a feint to get the opposition’s guard down—and an actual fallback in case they can’t somehow sneak it through after all.
The Obama administration hasn't given up on the idea of the 'public option', they've only changed PR strategies.
Rather than continue beating what even many of their own fellow democrats now consider a dead horse, they're just choosing to bury the dead one inside a Trojan horse bearing the friendlier sounding moniker of "co-ops".
In fact, I'm quite sure they had this 'compromise' ready to go from the very beginning.
It's a classic bait & switch subterfuge, only this time it's not actually a different defective product they're switching to - they're just peddling the same toxic crypto-fascist junk under a less-scary socialist name.
If its true, credit belongs on this web site.
What Republicans need to do instead of jumping in bed with the Democrats, is to fight this war down to the last man. What did Hitler use to say, this will be my last request for a concession or something like that every time he occupied new territory. Same here, any concession gives credence to their lies and leads to our defeat.
What they should do now is pull every statement every Dem made about how they couldn’t make it work without a public option and show them for the manipulating liars they are.
Everything else - terms, definitions, language, promises, assurances, etc - optional.
I agree, this is a tactic; to put us back to sleep...
they are going to sneak this monstor in...somehow!
Beware of the shell game!!
That’s right. Don’t believe it.
Also I note they increased the number of uninsured in the article to “almost 50 million”. My wife and myself agree that’s probably accurate at the rate the Obamanites are ruining the employment picture here in this country. More and more have hit the unemployment lines, and continue to do so.
My thoughts exactly.
“Don’t believe it”
You are correct. They’ll be tacking it on to some other screwed up, sympathetic bill—like special education—now, how could any congressperson be against special education?
Most likely they’ll try to pass their sh*t in the house and do a more tempered thing in the Senate...when it goes to conference, they’ll switch it back to the house bill....
So YES, DON’T BELIEVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
It's will be morphed to make it more tasty and then incrementally change till he have to same bill over time.
My immediate thought:
B.S.
about the same thing that you wrote.
Since they’re such lying ba$tards, don’t believe them when they say something you want to hear.
