"Frightening" is how Dr. Nancy Snyderman described it when MSNBC spotted a man openly carrying a holstered handgun near a New Hampshire town hall meeting where President Obama was scheduled to speak.

The message could not be more clear. A citizen exercising his or her Constitutionally guaranteed right is a scary threat. And even if they don't have bad intent, they're just not competent enough to have guns. Why, at another event in Arizona, someone dropped a gun, Dr. Nancy tells us, the implication being none of us can be trusted.
Chris Matthews ratchets up the hand-wringing to...I don't want to call it "hardball" because it's more like throwing rocks:

Dr. Nancy is a little behind the news cycle. The guy open carrying was apparently some kind of LEO. Pictures of him seem to show him wearing an ear piece.
To judge by the sign more than likely a Free Stater, Libertarian type. There are a lot of them around here.
If he was looking to get his message out he certainly succeeded.
Bravo! This man successfully dodged every attempt by Matthews to make him look foolish. You could almost smell Chrissie’s frustration at his failure to paint this armed citizen as a loon.
If he had asked me what my bringing a gun to this event accomplished, I would have said, “Would you have asked my opinion on national TV if I hadn’t been wearing it?”.....
Isn’t Dr. Nancy Snyderman the physician who suggested recently that the USA pattern its health care system after that of Rwanda? Anything this woman says is immediately suspect.
They do things like this every now and then, it our verson of diversity.

Matthews is truly an embarrassment. Like all leftists, anyone engaged in an absolutely legal practice with which they disagree, must be attacked, discredited and humiliated. Chris, you expose yourself every time you open your mouth. Any wonder MSNBC has become the laughing stock it is!

Right. He came, he carried a firearm, and NOTHING BAD HAPPENED as a result. The same as the results of all the states passing CCW laws, despite the continuous (and continuing) claims by the anti-gunners that "there will be blood in the streets".
Isn’t it outrageous that “Dr.” (first, do no harm) Nancy finds the man frightening all the while finding nothing frightening about pulling a live infant from the womb and then shoving a pair of scissors into it’s tiny head?
