MSNBC is having an on air meltdown over a man their camera crew videotaped openly carrying a handgun at an anti-Obama protest in Portsmouth, New Hampshire this morning near where Barack Obama will be holding a town hall meeting later today.
MSNBC showed footage of the man with the gun openly holstered to his right leg. He was holding a large sign with words about the tree of liberty.
The Portsmouth police chief informed MSNBC the man was legally armed.
The man was reportedly standing with a group of protesters on the property of a church.
More as this develops.
That's probably why he had it. I don't blame him. Those left wing rent a mobs aren't exactly known for their humility.
I can just imagine the interviews with the LEOs... “Don’t you think you should arrest him? Aren’t you going to arrest him? Why aren’t you going to arrest him?

Reason I ask is because of that care a few months back where that guy mouthed off to police as he was riding by on his bike, telling them to make sure they read the guy his rights. The cop saw his handgun grips sticking out of his backpack and he was charged for open carry.

I think being “legally armed” is prudent given the 0bama thugs that are likely to show up.
That guy with the GUN is a complete IDIOT, I mean that’s not even a Glock. He should have the decency to bring a real gun like a Glock 23. What is that in the holster?
What’ll happen now is that one of the libtards in the media will attempt to make a connection between the quote on his sign—i.e., what the tree of liberty is watered *with* per the famous quote—and the fact that he’s armed.
I believe the quote from one of the Founding Fathers is “from time to time, the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of tyrants?”

Nonetheless as the cop told the media bedwetter-”he’s legal”. If he wasn’t, I’m sure he’d been removed long before the bedwetters ever saw him.
The pics and video of this will be plastered all over the MSM until support for the Tea Party concept has dropped 20%.

There is also concern about any of these protests turning into a melee, and in a melee guns can be grabbed. But again, he didn’t ask me and I admire the pluck.
