Democratic Party Official Slaps Obamacare Opponent at Town Hall (w/Photo)

TampaBay.com has a great photo sequence of a woman slapping a man in the face at yesterday's explosive town hall meeting in Tampa held by Rep. Kathy Castor and the goons from SEIU and Obama's Organizing for America.

What the Tribune failed to disclose was the fact that the woman doing the slapping is a local Democratic party official, specifically the treasurer of the East Hillsborough County Democratic Party Club.

In the eight-photo sequence, two men are seen arguing face to face, with one man wagging his finger in the face of the other. A woman standing behind the finger-wagger reaches around him and starts to push the other man. She then steps forward and give the other man an open palm slap across the face. According to the photo captions, the woman, Karen Miracle, claims she was protecting her husband, Garry Miracle, who supposedly has a heart condition, from the other man, Barry Osteen.

In none of the photos is the slapped man seen extending his arms or raising his hands.

Notice the caption to the picture on the website says Tampa police close the door to protesters? It wasn’t the police who pushed people out and closed the door, it was SEIU union thugs and the cop was only there after the fact because they roughed up a couple people while they were doing it!! The cops had nothing to do with closing the doors!

Hi Freepers! Hubby and I were there in the “outside” crowd. We arrived at 5:30. There were easily 300 people outside in line when we arrived. We quickly learned that the room was to hold 200 with another 50 in the foyer there were many people already inside (hand picked audience). Within a few minutes we were told by an officer that the room was almost full. I guess that was his way of telling us we didn't have a chance of getting inside the building. The following is a report from a friend from the Tampa 9/12 group who got into the meeting. Jean :)

“I was there last night as well, I was also inside the main meeting room. I knew that is wasn't going to go well when the Pastor who gave the invocation asked God to “keep still those that oppose this question.” I was the recipient of profanity by 2 DNC members and from a Time Magazine photo journalist, (he later apologized.) I also had to tell one gentlemen to remove his hand from my arm. The “overflow crowd”, located just outside the meeting hall with direct access to both hearing and seeing Ms Castor, began chanting “Read the Bill” after Ms. Castor said “no one would lose their private health care.” It was only when a union member (that had a front row seat and seated before any of the rest of us) ran into the overflow room pointing her finger screaming “shut-up” that the trouble began. The police intervened, brought her back into the meeting room and then shut the doors on the “overflow crowd” basically cutting off their ability to hear and see what was going on inside. At this point the “over flow” crowd began banging on the door.

What the politicians don't understand is: we are not there to ask questions nor listen to condescending answers. We have read the bill and know what it says. We are there to tell them we are tired of the fiscal burden of government programs and the Health Care Bill is our “line-in-the-sand.” We are there to tell our elected officials that if they vote “yes” on HR3200, their time in DC is over. Period.

After being told to disperse (at approx. 7:15p) from the Children's Board property by the Tampa Police, some of us stayed until 8P, protesting on the public sidewalk. I must say the overwhelming majority of the cars that passed us gave us the “thumbs-up.”

At the Rally In Fayetteville, I was hit hard on the top of the head while listening to Dr Raoul deliver a speech. The hitter was a shaved head Code Pink Goon. He was removed by the police. My neck was sore for two or three days from the impact

He looks an awful lot like the guy in a navy colored Hiwaiian flowered shirt on the video where someone was roughed up.

You are exactly right about their provocation, seeking retaliation. Think about it in the sports context; a player gets a cheap shot from a thug on a goon team. The player retaliates by shoving back or taking a poke at the thug.

Who gets the penalty?

As insulting as it is, we have to take it or we will be portrayed as the thugs. That’s just the rules of engagement imposed by the state-run media.

I’d like to check with you on a couple of things that were reported in last night’s threads about this Townhall...

First, did Ms. Castor call the meeting off and leave after 1/2 hour, because of the vocal ‘overflow’ crowd??

Next, was the front door closed while there were still empty seats in the hall - and were SEIU members were being brought in through a side/back door??

And, finally, did a ‘fistfight’ break out in the hall sometime during the proceedings??

If any of these items is mis (or dis) information, we need to know — unlike the leftists, we need to operate from a factual basis...

Thanks for the AAR. I'd say all these THM's are theater from here on out, but "the play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the King." Unfortunately that won't work with the current King and the assorted lords and ladies in Congress. No conscience, you see.

The gal’s hubby started trying to have a confrontation when he pointed his finger at the other man’s chest. That move will seriously anger any man I know- in fact I once saw a man grab a finger pointed at him like that and bend it backwards until the man pointing it was on the floor crying with a broken finger.

The woman claims she was defending her hubby who has a heart condition but the photos clearly show her hubby is running his mouth through the whole episode so to me it seems both husband and wife were the trouble makers and it does look to me like she slapped the other man. I think the other man appears to be a big strong man so her slap was not hard enough to really bother him but she did slap him. If her hubby is an attorney I bet they wanted the other man to react with some sort of violence so they could sue or at least use it for political hay. The man that got slapped needs to charge her with assult- I sure would. Turn their own game back on them.

The teamster thugs not only beat up Don Adams, they also beat up his sister. The AG then pressed criminal charges against Don Adams which he had to fight in court. Current PA Governor Ed Rendell was also involved and gave orders to the thugs.

I know very well how evil the courts are and I don't want anyone to take unnecessary risks. But why won't conservative lawyers go after these thugs?

No kidding. In fact, I was traumatized just seeing the pictures, so maybe I have a cause of action as well, as I’ll probably need therapy to get those frightening pictures out of my mind, and that will run into big bucks.
