Jimmy Carter was the "least likeable" president, Ronald Kessler reveals in his new book about the Secret Service that chronicles the agency’s activities guarding every president from Kennedy to Obama.
"In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect," already an Amazon.com best-seller since its publication on Tuesday, features startling disclosures about the presidents and their families.
Newsmax Chief Washington Correspondent Kessler, the first journalist to penetrate the wall of secrecy that surrounds the U.S. Secret Service, based his book on interviews with more than 100 current and former agents.
Agents told Kessler that Jimmy Carter treated them and others who served him with utter disdain.
"Inside the White House, Carter treated with contempt the little people who helped and protected him," and told agents not to look at him or speak to him — even to say hello — when he went to the Oval Office, Kessler disclosed.

Some secret service...no fan of Jimmuh, not gy a long shot, but no fan of all these kiss and tell books either...especially from secret service and other agencies...I’m starting to wonder if anyone will fulfil their oath anymore...or at least just do the job they signed on for and then STFU...

Carter , being the shortest of most Presidents suffered from little man disease. You know the guy , the short one with the chip on his shoulder who is rude and drives the big truck and is always showing off to try and be big ...

No surprise to me. Despite widespread belief (not here of course) that despite his incompetence Carter is a nice guy, scuttlebutt during his presidency was that he is actually a mean and petty person.
But...But... he was such a good Christian man.
Freakin’ hypocrite, “Habitat for Humanity” do gooder makes me want to puke. Couldn’t stand him then, and still can’t. Oh, yeah, and I wish he’d keep his pie hole shut. Every time he spouts off some nonsense all I can think is “there’s no fool like an old fool”.
