The Senate on Thursday sent Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court with a modest display of bipartisan support, making her the first Hispanic justice and only the third woman to serve on the high court.
The 68-31 vote held few surprises, as a small band of Republicans joined Democrats in confirming her 72 days after President Barack Obama nominated the former prosecutor and judge. Our country is rapidly being torn apart as a direct result of "affirmative action". Racial quotas don't work - they only instill a sense of entitlement in place of a work ethic.
I’m assuming that Kennedy was the missing Democrat?

Goodbye forever GOP.
Sometimes, too cute by half, doesn’t work ... LOL.
La Raza has their first supporter on the Supreme court.

I agree with and will work to have him replaced.
Email to his Office Stated this.
Maybe splittimg hairs. He was of Portugese and Jewish ancestry.
Thats like letting Jesse Jackson be in charge of security at KKKlan rallies.
Activism from the bench.
how on earth can a someone of portuguese descent be considered hispanic? they don’t even speak spanish!
when a portuguese justice is nominated, then you can pipe up about cardozo.
Now we have racist as Supreme court justices, and in the White House.
I still think it was a slap at BO. This is a smaller number than what Roberts was confirmed by I believe.
