How 'birthers' can defy political mainstream [FreeRepublic mentioned]
MSNBC / CQ Politics ^ | August 5, 2009 | Dan Nather

If you’re the sort of person who believes there’s still doubt that Barack Obama was born in the United States, you can go to WorldNetDaily for all of your news. There you’ll find several updates a day on this developing story. You can also order a DVD documentary, “A Question of Eligibility,” set for release Tuesday, Aug. 4 — the date on which Obama was born 48 years ago in, presumably, some other country, which would make him ineligible to be president.

Or you can check out the blog of Orly Taitz, the attorney-dentist who is helping to raise awareness of Obama’s “illegitimacy” and urging her readers to confront elected officials at town hall meetings. There’s plenty of coverage at ObamaBirthers.com. Or you can check the latest posts on FreeRepublic.com, where bloggers follow all the latest twists and turns of the story and people post messages asking others to share information about things they think they remember about the dispute.

For that matter, you can watch Lou Dobbs on CNN or listen to his radio talk show, where he continues to demand that Obama produce his birth certificate. The only danger will come if you watch anything else on CNN or on the network news, or read the major newspapers or their Web sites. If you do, you might find that the “Obama is a foreigner” theory has been thoroughly debunked, with mounds of evidence, over and over again.

But if you still believe the president does not meet the constitutional requirement of being “a natural born citizen” you also probably know that the mainstream media are big put-up jobs, the last places you can turn to for reliable information.(continued)

If you’re the sort of person who has no questions or concerns about why 0bama is hiding his BC, his school records, his passport records and more then you can’t claim to care about your country.

The pond scum who wear their Obamanoid kneepads as soemthing honorable, as they lie and deceive we the people in their role of fifth co;umn enemy assisting the Marxist bastards sweeping away the old Republic. Soon, it will be open season on media scum because they are clearly traitors, quisling anti-Constitution socialist drones serving their new world masters, the DNC criminal enterprise.

Right now...I am leaning towards RINOs being worse....

Its the theory: “Someone peeing inside the tent is better than someone peeing outside the tent”

This is nothing except the usual BS that you would expect from MSNBC. Where's the long form?

If you do, you might find that the “Obama is a foreigner” theory has been thoroughly debunked, with mounds of evidence, over and over again.

And those "mounds of evidence"? Please let us see it.

Unless it’s 30 below and the bad guys are in the wire and he’s peeing on your Garand to free up the bolt and trigger assembly. Rinos may be Rinos but they’re not Barney Frank and I don’t think it’s easier beating Frank without them.

In some ways the birther movement, which makes much of the fact that the Hawaii Health Department has not produced an original long-form birth certificate...

If birthers are so risible, why is it that the MSM in their denounciations are at such pains to dance around the facts? We know, and MSNBC knows, that the Hawaii Health Department can't produce the long-form BC without it being requested by Obama.

Why can't MSNBC just say:

...the birther movement, which makes much of the fact that Obama has refused to release his original long-form birth certificate...

They can't say that because they can't answer why Obama refuses to release it and still have the birthers ridiculous.

It hasn't been debunked, even though the left has thrown mountains of spin at it, over and over again.

Exactly!

A great many of us admit, up front, that we are not sure WHO Obama is, and know very little about his past.

We simply feel that Obama has an obligation to release his documents.

We do not understand why Obama is hiding his past from the American people.

You can be a good Conservative or a good Republican and not much care about this issue, I suppose.

But, I do not understand how anyone can call themselves a “conservative” and then act to silence these perfectly legitamate questions.

When has the left ever suffered for its loons?

When has the left ever apologized for its loons?

And, the difference, is, the vast majority of “birthers” are NOT “loons” at all!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A natural born citizen of the United States would be **honored** to release a long form birth certificate and **all** relevant documents needed to completely prove their eligibility for president of this great nation.

GOP music we need to get the rights to:

“Who are YOU?”

Music the Dems will probably play at their next convention:

“Born in the USA”

LOL
