Exactly!

A great many of us admit, up front, that we are not sure WHO Obama is, and know very little about his past.

We simply feel that Obama has an obligation to release his documents.

We do not understand why Obama is hiding his past from the American people.

You can be a good Conservative or a good Republican and not much care about this issue, I suppose.

But, I do not understand how anyone can call themselves a “conservative” and then act to silence these perfectly legitamate questions.

When has the left ever suffered for its loons?

When has the left ever apologized for its loons?

And, the difference, is, the vast majority of “birthers” are NOT “loons” at all!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A natural born citizen of the United States would be **honored** to release a long form birth certificate and **all** relevant documents needed to completely prove their eligibility for president of this great nation.

That is the crux of it right there. Never mind "good conservative" or "good liberal." How can any good American not find this inexplicable secrecy troubling? If a conservative candidate came along who spoke the best line of conservative principles but his past was a total mystery and was fiercely protected from public knowledge they wouldn't get any support from me.
