Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, was registered for college classes in Seattle only 15 days after reportedly delivering her first-born child in Honolulu, according to school records obtained by WND.
How Dunham was able to travel the 2,680 air miles from Honolulu to Seattle only a few days after the birth of her baby at a time when trans-Pacific travel likely was at a speed half of today's jets is not disclosed in the currently available public record concerning President Obama's birth.
Nor is there anything on the public record to explain how Dunham managed to find an apartment and relocate with her infant son so she could begin taking university classes within 15 days of the baby's birth.
There is also nothing on the public record to suggest Madelyn Dunham, Ann Dunham's mother, or any other family member preceded or accompanied Dunham to Seattle in August 1961 to help the new mother and infant son find appropriate living arrangements and complete the university's enrollment process prior to beginning classes.

Stanley who was 18 years old at the time, had never lived away from her mother and had no knowledge or experience in child care or living on her own would have to have done all these things and others in two weeks. I don't believe it.
She had money to pay for all of the above? Who financed her globe trotting?
Your imagery implies that Frank may have...uhhh, both mom and son.
” Fair to assume the parents were not accepting. “
You agree with Barry. Or Bar as his grandmother called him.
” Dreams From My Father “ by Barack Obama.

How and when the marriage occured remains a bit murky ,a bill of particulars that I’ve never quite had the courage to explore.
Theres no record of a real wedding, a cake , a ring, a giving away of the bride .
No families in attendance , it’s not even clear that people back in Kansas were fully informed.
But, after writing that Obama says (I believe this to be a leap because how would he know if no families were in attendance ? )
that it was just a small civil ceremony with a JP.
” The whole thing seems so fragile in retrospect, so haphazard .”
” And perhaps that’s how my grandparents intended it to be,
a trial that would pass as long as they maintained a stiff upper lip
and didnt do anything drastic.
Drastic ???
” If so, they miscalculated my mother’s quiet determination but also the sway of their own emotions.
” First, the baby arrived ,eight pounds, two ounces,
( the only reference to his birth in his entire long winded autobiography )
with ten toes and ten fingers and hungry for food. “
“ What in the heck were they supposed to do ?”
Go look at a map.
Distance from Honolulu to Seattle: 2680 miles
Distance from Nairobi, Kenya to Seattle: 8994 miles.
I don’t know how many flights or legs it would have taken in the early 1960s to get from Africa to Seattle, and neither do you.
But I do know that the distance from Hawaii to Washington is only 30% of the distance from Kenya to Seattle.
You can’t fly to Hawaii in a single enging airplane without putting on extea bladder fuel tanks but you can fly to all of Europe and/or Africa with most singles without adding extra fuel bladders.
You apparently aren’t a pilot and don’t know jack shit about avaition!
I do know. I did post the schedules on the long thread.
She probably left the baby messiah with grandma.
You’re right, I’m no pilot, and I know nothing about aviation.
So you tell me. How long would it take in the early 60’s to fly to Seattle from Nairobi vs. from Honolulu?
And then tel me: why does it even matter?
Is there any record of a baby being on a flight with her at that time?
Because they would be in violation of the law. Hospitals can legally release medical records only by request of the patient.
Somewhere in Northern Virginia ~ ages ago.
I am not talking about medical records.
I'm talking about nothing more than the Honolulu Advertiser has already published and is now distributed around the world.
Rather than state vital records (which would have come from the hospital) the source would be the hospital itself, to wit, Kauikeolani Children's Hospital, I believe.
....or for that matter compare it to a supposed Dunham relative?
One of the best articles on the subject. I first read it quite awhile ago and refer back to it often.

With fuel stops probably around 36 hours.
It matters because he was born there and flown to Hawaii 3 days later.
If you don’t believe it tough shit!
Yes, it’s much more believable that she traveled from Kenya to Seattle with a new baby, than to have traveled from Hawaii.
[gag]
Yep.
Explains it all: the absence of any pictures or eyewitness accounts of a pregnant Ann Dunham in Hawaii, her appearance with a newborn in Seattle in late August ‘61, Barry O’s refusal to release his birth certificate.
Her parents probably sent her to a home for unwed mothers near friends in Seattle to avoid disgrace. They likely told people she had returned to the states for college (and she did enroll in U of W that fall).
B.O. was probably born in Canada.
