There are now modified photos of the COLB that broke here yesterday. The changes are so slight, that no one is noticing them.
The original one posted in breaking news:
One of the modified ones:
The changes are so subtle, you can barely tell which one you are looking at.
This modified one is showing jokes like: The Font of the Certificate=Schmutz (A Schmutz is a chump, as in you are a chump) #5733=The number of the Certificate, is code for : "Problem with Windows REGISTRY", a sly reference to your claim that Obama does not appear on the Hawaii Live Birth Registry. 47O44=Easiest of all. BOH's age=47 0=O (if you look close you can tell that that is a Schmutz Font "Oh" not "Zero") EF Lavender is ORGANIC DISH SOAP
The original one does not say EF Lavender, it says KF Lavender. The original one shows the number is: 47,644.
Well surprise surprise surprise!!! You would have thought that Technical Editor would have done this to check out its authenticity before posting this Australian fake, but he/she apparently had another agenda. Now just what could that be????
I the comments I found this...>>>>>>>>>>>
Aussie Gal
The Australian ABC have found the man whose birth certificate was copied. Listen to the interview here.

His birth certificate was up on the net and they managed to find it.
music thank you/
Yep, it’s been messed with. I had to blow it up to see it but that’s a “K” and that’s a “6” on the original.
Zot yourself. I don't want us to be Dan Rathered by the Left on this ridiculous BC fraud. All we have is a stupid pic of it on someone's bedspread. Where is it? Why won't they go on TV?
Of course I'm "still here". Not everyone is as myopic on this issue as you. When I see something more than an angled photo on someone's bedspread, then I'll take this "BC" more seriously.
also freepm
Of course the typewritten font was more genuine on the Australian one for that era too.
Just taking a glance at the original it seems to me that it is printed in 8 1/2" by 11" paper, Standard American stock whereas European standard stock is A4, 210 x 297mm a little longer and a little narrower. So I doubt if this is a copy of the actual printed form from Kenya.
The Australian raised seal is off center, readable and initialed which would be normal for a hand stamped document. The other seal on the Obama document is perfectly centered, unreadable and not initialed which would be more likely on a fake.

Maybe a coincidence :)
Good morning.
I read thru Technical Editor’s posts of the last 2 or so months last nite and earlier today and I concur with you regarding TE having an agenda of some sort.
IMO, Technical Editor is a big fan of credentialism/elitism. It oozes from quite a few of her/his posts.
Go take a gander, if you have time.
Have a rip-roaring day!
I'm no Photoshop wiz but I'm no amateur either. What I see when I look at your image and my copy of the same in Photoshop is a very strong indication that this was originally a layered document with the DEPUTY REGISTRAR layer on top of the SIGNATURE layer. If you are doing a fake document that would be a big mistake. So it is a red flag. I think the "correct" approach (from a forger's point of view) would be to have the SIGNATURE layer on top and then set a blending mode to overlay the DEPUTY REGISTRAR layer to provide a realistic image and then to flatten the whole document.
This is getting to be very interesting just when I thought we had been dealt a death blow. FR is simply an amazing place.
That's the one thing I didn't catch.
Funny, though...I still think ballpoints are déclassé and faithfully use my Waterman fountain pen every day (and have for years), thank you very much.
Good find.
What I'm really looking for was who planted the red herring, though.
Looking for somebody to brag about it.
: ) Pens are awesome. My hands are kinda failing but that pen pic rules.
Congratulations, from one member of the old school to another.
That is a beautiful pen.
Civil servants of that time would be horrified to sign anything with a ball point pen.
Congratulations for the catch....
Your dad better owe you for this :-)
as should everyone else that’s interested in this.
Your persistance in this endevour is appreciated.
To those who don’t know what this is about, see post 1390!
Yes, it's an interesting development. The Bomford document definitely appears to be legitimate.
The question then is why is the purported Kenyan document so similar? Why would someone make a forgery that used many of the same administrative numbers, yet go to the significantly greater effort of changing the folds?
I've had too many shirts ruined by ballpoints. Too many documents ruined by the ink not flowing correctly and blotching.
If somebody was really trying to fake out the court, they would have at least changed the numbers and names.
Therefore, I think it's a red herring. We all need to watch for the braggart.
