There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.
I’m saying you have a weird definition for someone who is “not” a conservative, when they vote for the conservatives... LOL...
>>I guess we can only try...<<
Amen!
I have the perfect definition of someone who is not a Conservative....YOU!
Nite, troll
Are you using this definition again...? LOL...
A troll is someone who doesnt agree with my opinion and has the audacity to say so!
What on earth makes you think that “another” law will compel officials to enforce such that they already do not in other form, enforce?
It is time for the people to unite and act against maleficent officials, remove them from office, and exact such justice as the people can from their notorious neglect of duty.
At this point in our history, clearly there is no other remedy than the peoples’ new insurgency, and regrettably vicious justice. We are most ill served by our elected officials. The proof of our officials malfeasance is obvious every day, from the plundering of taxpayer dollars to give over to the insiders, to the odious theft of our God given freedoms to corral the “herd” of people to neat little pens.
I prey that the pen is still more powerful than the sword.
thats enough now, settle down sis.
Nope, this one:

BS. Deal with it.
You said — What on earth makes you think that another law will compel officials to enforce such that they already do not in other form, enforce?
—
That’s easy, because this is sort of a reverse type of law....
The candidates always have to fill out paperwork for every state that they want to be on the ballot for. And — for example — if they didn’t fill out the paperwork and meet the requirements of the law in that state, they just wouldn’t be on the ballot. The states do have their specific requirements that *must be met*..., just like the form I showed earlier...
So, when the paperwork comes in and they do the checklist... if the candidate has not completed all the items — he simply is not on the ballot... end of story... and that’s it...
And, furthermore, the states who are likely to get that state law enacted are going to be the conservative ones anyway, so you know if that state passed that law, they’re gonna make sure that the law that they just passed gets taken care of... :-)
Even in the absence of specific statute, does the public have a right to see his original birth certificate, yes or no?
What do you actually believe?
His birth records can still be accessed via the courts. That's what the upcoming court hearings are about. In absence of documentary proof of eligibility ( due to loopholes in the statutes ), then the public has a right to see his original birth certificate. If he won't provide it himself, then the public should be allowed get it obtained through a court order.
(2) No one has been able to get Obama to show his birth certificate in over one year of trying, through both a whole slew of court cases and also through political persuasion. [true or not true; if not true, then show the birth certificate...]
So far...
(3) States control their own laws for who can be placed on the ballot in that state (true or not true; if not true, the show federal laws that specificy that states cannot do this and the federal laws of who goes on the ballot in each state...]
Even States cannot place candidates on the ballot ( and win electoral votes ) that do not actually meet requirements specified in the Constitution. Even States are obligated to have candidates meet those requirements. So we're right back at square one.
It’s the perfect definition, as it works for all FReepers... LOL...
See post #193 for the evidence of being a liar, liar.
They have a right to see it but they can’t legally compel it... and thus, in order to get the candidate to show his birth certificate, we need to pass a state law that requires the candidate to produce his birth certificate or else he cannot be on the ballot... :-)...
did your mother and father raise you this conceited or did you acquire it all on your own?
I would say that it’s more like you can’t face up to the reality that someone else points out to you... :-)
And here is the reality that you’re faced with in regards to the birth certificate of Obama’s...
(1) There is no legal requirement for a candidate to show a birth certificate. [true or not true; if true, show the law...]
(2) No one has been able to get Obama to show his birth certificate in over one year of trying, through both a whole slew of court cases and also through political persuasion. [true or not true; if not true, then show the birth certificate...]
(3) States control their own laws for who can be placed on the ballot in that state (true or not true; if not true, the show federal laws that specificy that states cannot do this and the federal laws of who goes on the ballot in each state...]
And so, since #1, #2, and #3 are obviously true, then this is a *conclusion* that a state can make a law which legally requires showing a birth certificate or the candidate cannot be placed on the ballot in that state.

I’m sorry if you can’t face the reality of it, but that’s just the way it is and if you want to do something about it, you’re going to have to get that state law going...
They just taught me to recognize reality and speak the facts to people... and there you have it... :-)
Like the laws that require a candidate to be registered 90 days before the election?
Oh.... you’re talking about that “flame fest” you started... LOL...
Get fitted for new offical zero kneepads today, did ya?

Whenn you go insane... thats all ya got left... LOL...
Here’s the reality, posted at #193 this thread, and your continued insulting FR.
The states can enforce their own requirements for the candidates that go on the ballot in their state, and once that state makes a law that requires a candidate provide his birth certificate or else he cannot be placed on the ballot... then that’s it for him if he doesn’t provide it....
And that’s what we’re looking for... :-)
