There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.
This is the first time I’ve seen it, so thanks!!!
The DNC and RNC will determine who represents them. But, the states are the ones who say who goes on the state ballot...
And hence... that’s why when you enact a state law that requires a candidate to produce his birth certificate... he will produce it — or else he won’t be on the ballot in that state.
So, he might be the RNC or the DNC candidate — but his name won’t be on the ballot in that state... LOL...
No he will or his polls will be down under Clinton's septic tank
Ahhh..... another one! Glad to hear it...
You see what I’m getting here... in regards to enacting such a law..
I’ve gotten this *same thing* (all the hassles) on every single thread I’ve posted this on, since the time of the election... LOL...
BUT... I’m not giving up and I’m still doing it... :-)
Why thank you!
I won't post what others have told me you are....(_*_)
I saw what “politics” did with the birth certificate issue in the last election — Obama got elected...
Now, I prefer *legal action* — because I’ve seen that “politics” doesn’t work...
Are you going to work for that state law now?
Well... I would avoid listening to those imbeciles.... if I were you... :-)
I’m bored today so I thought I’d entertain myself beating up on a moronic troll :)
I’m really surprised at the Daily News. To say we don’t have our feet on any soil—in other words, that we are not loyal to America. They are usually not this crazy.
all:
Over and over and over you post the same message:
“THEY SHOULD PASS SOME SORT OF LAW THAT WILL PREVENT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE PROBLEM NEXT ELECTION” bla bla bla!... FINE, GREAT IDEA — NO ONE BUT NO ONE DISAGREES!— WHY DON’T YOU DO IT OR START A THREAD OF YOUR OWN ON THE IDEA?
INSTEAD YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORD LOCANIC MEANS?
%$()*(&^ STE=Q
Now I know you can’t follow threads... Maybe someone else can help you out... :-)
[ hint... just click the links and follow the “con-ver-sa-tion” LOL... ]
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
I just heard from someone who said they had not heard of this idea before, and that’s how people hear about it... posting right here...
And that’s what I intend to do — for a *solution* — to the Obama Birth Certificate issue...
Here’s the problem with what you’re saying:
“The state law is exactly what I am posting about...”
Where is the state law affirming the 1st amendment, the 2nd, etc.? Above all law is the Constitution, and it is considered law, not just Federally, but also on a local, state level. This point has been decided by USSC.
It is not necessary for the several states to individually address each point of the Constitution by separate statute.
Like I said, voting laws have worked so well. Not. The PEOPLE need to be heard.
Major media anchors and commentators could not be reached for comment because they all have their lips stuck on Obama’s hindquarters.
However they are quite certain there is nothing to the story as they did research Obama’s background in detail by digging through all of the dumpsters in Wasilla, Alaska.
I REALLY have other things to do. Have a pleasant day.
You said — It is not necessary for the several states to individually address each point of the Constitution by separate statute.
—
The issue has been addressed by the states already, per the Constitution and it has been addressed by the State of Hawaii, too — per the Constitution. The problem is not that — it’s that people want to see the “birth certificate” — and *that* has not been addressed by either the Constitution or the states...
And heres the Constitution for you...., the *basics* of the Constitution on this issue...
And yes, there is a Constitution and here is what it says, in regards to qualifications. The Constitution says that a candidate must be the following in order to qualify for the office. The candidate must ...
*be* 35 years or older
*be* a resident 14 years or more
*be* a natural born citizen
And Obama has sworn under oath that he *is* (as the Constitution says he must *be*)...
It does not say what is necessary to show it, prove it or what any means for vetting is. Thats up to the states themselves to vet and make sure that the candidates meet the qualifications.
And what they have done is sworn an oath that they are qualified..., Obama has, the other candidates have and they have in the past...
And in addition the State of Hawaii says that he *is* exactly what the Constitution says he must *be*...
http://hawaii.gov/health/about/pr/2009/09-063.pdf
I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.
This shows that there is no Constitutional issue or question. So, when there is no Constitutional issue at problem here with the Qualifications for office, why would the Supreme Court get involved? Which is why they didnt get involved.
And if you want to get Obama to show his birth certificate, youre going to have to get a state law to that effect, which is what Ive been proposing since the election.
But aside from the birth certificate issue, there is plenty of political issues to deal with, in terms of conservatives opposing Marxist/liberal/leftist policies, legislation and agendas.
However, I still push for the state law to enact legislation to require a candidate to show his birth certificate or else he cannot be on the ballot in that state...
