Why the Founding Fathers Were “Birthers”

The label of “birther” is fast becoming a noble badge of honor for millions of Americans who are not willing to let their Constitution die without a good ole patriot’s fight!
The leftist Obama propaganda press would love for you to believe that “birthers” are just a bunch of “crazy racists” that number in the hundreds, and that they have NO basis to demand proof of whom and what Barack Hussein Obama really is…
But the “birthers” actually number in the millions and the basis for their demands were set in stone by the men who wrote and ratified the US Constitution. If millions of American “birthers” are “right-wing nuts,” they are in good company with men like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams and Ben Franklin.
Obama has been running from his entire past all of his political life. His many minions in the press have been running interference every step of the way.
For the record, the following Obama records remain under lock and key, more than two years into public demands for Obama “transparency"… and Obama has spent a reported $1 Million in legal fees to keep them SEALED!
* Obama’s official birth records -SEALED * His Occidental College records -SEALED * His Columbia College records -SEALED * His Harvard College records -SEALED * His College Thesis -SEALED * His Harvard Law Review articles -SEALED * His Indonesia Adoption records -SEALED * His Passport file -SEALED * His connection to countless foreign and domestic thugs -SEALED
And, for those of honor and integrity, it's a simple thing to put to rest. I have a passport and a birth certificate. I can produce them at my house in a matter of minutes. I have not spent a million dollars to either acquire them...or to hide them.
This is not a unreasonable thing to ask for since being a "natural born citizen" of the US is a constitutional requirement for the job of President. It's not hateful, and it's not racist.
Proving that you are should be an honor.
Yet Obama cannot and will not produce either. Why?

Obama hasn’t been running from anything. He is just standing in front of you, thumbing his nose at all of us. Has no one noticed that he hasn’t said a word to the American people about his birth certificate or any other papers concerning his past? He is being quiet about all of it, when all he has to do is address the subject. He has been well schooled to keep his mouth shut.
I’m glad to see one person gets it. Is this actually from the Canada Free Press, or is this a personal blog?
At any rate, it’s a crying shame we can’t get something like this out of even the Heritage Foundation. This nation is so in the tank for Obambi on the issue of his past.
What a dark time in our nation’s history. I’d say it’s our darkest. What others couldn’t do to us, we are doing to ourselves. May God have mercy...

Look at what ignoring that Constitutional requirement has given us — a usurper who just ignores other parts of the Constitution at will. His stimulus program is a “Cash for Constitution” bribery scheme.
Like John McCain I was not born in this country but am eligible to run for president. This is the military brat exception. My Army Officer (just barley 2nd Lieutenant) Father and Army bride mom were stationed in Japan. I was born in the local Army Hospital. I was an American Citizen at Birth. I however, have no State Birth Certificate. I have a Report of Birth from the State Department. I also have a Passport. It has been a problem from time to time. I am just sick that Obama has no problem getting where he's got ton and I had hell securing my first drivers license/entering school/college getting married because the low level civil servant in each instance did not know what my report of birth was and assumed I was a legal alien. Without a "Birth Certificate I have not moved through the system with the ease this man seems to have."

You bring up a good point which State-Run Media chooses to ignore: before the "birther" movement really got off the ground, Democrats were already asking questions about John McCain's eligibility to be President. The other day some Lefty wrote a piece in which she credited Congressional Democrats with "ending the controversy" by declaring McCain eligible (after the Senator had already made all the documentation a matter of public record).
In the murky world of "opposition research", when your candidate's opponent is looking into some particular area or peccadillo, it may well suggest that the opponent has a problem in that area (hence, the vile rumors about President George H. W. Bush by Bill Clinton's campaign and media allies). Of course, the notion of Obama's ineligibility does not simply rest on whether he was born in Kenya or Hawaii, there are other areas that should have been explored, such as possible multiple instances of renunciation of citizenship (would Lee Harvey Oswald, had he not "taken the shot" at JFK, have been eligible to be President, having once renounced his citizenship?), possible unverified claims of dual citizenship, unanswered questions about possible allegiance to other governments or anti-Constitutional creeds.
That the term “birther” should be used as a pejorative is not what concerns me. After all, the birth certificate issue run the gamut — from those who believe that Obama was born in Kenya to those who believe that Obama was born in Hawaii (and thus a citizen) but that something incriminating/damaging is contained within the long-form BC. More to the point, I have yet to find the legal distinction between a “natural-born citizen” and: (a) a citizen born on American soil of at least one American parent; (b) a citizen born on foreign soil to at least one American parent; or (c) a citizen born on a military installation abroad to least one American parent (e.g., John McCain).
At any rate, what truly frightens me is that the term “Constitutionalist” is now pejorative and, indeed, is used by our own government as a euphemism for “domestic extremist” or “domestic terrorist”.

I am the only one that thinks the founding fathers were so smart its spooky? If anything suggest aliens on are planet it is the brilliance that existed in creating our country...
I am not sure any of our current politicians are even capable of being in the founders league.

The Founding Fathers were wise to leave the Presidency reserved to natural-born citizens, rather than have it become a prize open to foreign schemers who would have converted it to a monarchy.
I weep for a country where the truth is considered a conspiracy. With all his talk about transparency Zero is the biggest say one thing and do another politician to ruin Washington
