I have a challenge to my old buddy Bill O'Reilly put up or shut up!
You told your viewers this week that challenges to Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility are "bogus."
You claimed you and your news organization examined Obama's birth certificate last year and found it to be in order.
Can I ask a question, Bill? Why don't you simply reveal to your viewers exactly what you saw and what you found?
Fox News Channel's slogan is, "We report, you decide." Why don't you try actually reporting the story, rather than deciding for us?
Here's the story, Bill, whether you recognize it or not: Tens of millions of Americans have serious doubts about Obama's right to be in office. They are concerned that the system broke down and did not require proof of his constitutional qualifications. They don't want double talk like they've been getting from politicians and the media elite. They don't want more platitudinous assertions. They don't expect to have their well-informed suspicions be ridiculed by the likes of you, Shepherd Smith, Chris Matthews, the New York Times, the Associated Press and the rest of the media monopoly singing in harmony.
The American people have figured out what you apparently are unable or unwilling to discern: Obama's hiding something. One of the somethings he is undoubtedly hiding is his birth certificate.
I will go also out on a limb, Bill, and proclaim that you were, shall we say, disingenuous when you claimed to have inspected Obama's birth certificate. If you got your hands on it, why didn't you show it to your viewers? If your goal is, as you state, to put an end to a bogus story, the obvious way would have been to share with your audience what you saw.
I don't think you saw

I second the motion!
Bill O’Reily is a pompous idiot.
Didn’t This O’Reilly weasel say that he would do anything to support Obama?
I guess that means LIE, and use the media outlet he has access to- to fool the citizens of the nation and protect a fraudster who is set on destroying our country. O’Reilly is obviously a part of this conspiracy.
I am really shocked that O’Reily would lie like this. I mean everything else, being opinion, well it’s just that, opinion and we can disagree. But this is a flat out lie. I have a love/hate relationship with BO, but this is really disappointing because now I believe that he is a liar.
You said you have investigated this issue and have confirmed that Obama is a US citizen but I'm wondering what it is you saw? If it was the short form then I understand that Obama's sister, born in Indonesia, has the same short form certification from Hawaii so obviously this form is meaningless for "natural born" qualifications to be POTUS.
Why has Obama spent 1m to fight the lawsuits requesting him to reveal his long form birth certificate?
Why were Major Green's orders revoked when he sued to avoid being deployed to Afghanistan on the grounds that Obama is not a legal CIC? Of course revoking the orders was designed to put the lawsuit to rest. The Major has since been fired from his job at a defense contractor.
Why are so many of Obama's other records hidden? This makes it easy to imagine that he received special treatment as a foreign student and that there are other facts in his records that we should know and that Obama is hiding from us.
If I were running for POTUS I'd eagerly and proudly display my qualifications and yet Obama has hidden his.
This would be a HUGE story if Obama was not born in the US and yet the media makes fun (Alinsky style) of those who want simple questions answered - questions that should have been answered long ago by any honest person. The media thought Bush's 30 yr old DUI was earthshaking news but a possibly foreign born POTUS isn't? Something is very wrong.
Good for Joe Farah to step up....BOR has been spinning this lie for the past few days
Yes, BOR...where is the Obama BC?
Maybe now we should just ask BOR for Obama’s BC.....
Still, anytime somebody picks up a pen to whip that twit Bill O'Reilly, who is always eager to show his even handedness by trashing those in the right as well as those in the wrong, I have to stand up and cheer.
O’Reilly is playing a game of blissful ignorance. He doesn’t want to hear or look to closely afraid of what he might find. This gives him plausible deniability.
Then I guess you don't believe that the laws of the land should apply equally to everyone, including Obama. He MUST produce his birth certificate to prove he is eligible to hold office. It's really quite a simple requirement, one which he has spent over 1 million dollars resisting. If that doesn't raise a red flag for you, then nothing should. You should just go about your own business and never question anything that goes on around you. It's simply none of your business is all anyone should ever have to say to you.
Yeah, I can see that being the case with him. I guess you could say I would much rather him be a weenie instead of a liar. Either way friend, he is of no use to me now.
Go man Go.
BTW I agree.
He hates Conservatives more than the democrats, which is revealed here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1-ZgouoJso
We know from that episode that he is a liar. And he is lying again when he says he has seen the birth certificate.... either that or he is too dumb to know a real birth certificate when he sees one.
As the article's author mentioned, "Bloviating, to use one of your favorite words, is no substitute for honest reporting."
Like Woodward and Bernstein for example.
Billy is an entertainer. Doesn’t care about the truth, just cares about his numbers.
This should wake many of his viewers up and start tuning him out.
One Harvard Jackazz looking out for another Harvard Jackazz.
Don’t worry Billy your invitation to the WH dance is in the mail.
I just e-mailed the article to him- oreilly@foxnews.com.
GREAT essay! Go to WND and read the entire story.
dead on. I suppose younger FReepers might not remember the, ‘just a third rate burglary’.
Well, apparently he doesn't, or he wouldn't be taking those helicopter rides to his 747, would he? It sure would have been nice if he would have been forced politically to show his birth certificate last fall, along with his academic and medical records. But he wasn't. I think he's perhaps hiding something, but it's much more likely something embarrassing than disqualifying; something like paternity. Or, perhaps he's just clever and waiting for the right time to make the birthers eat crow. Think that's a possibility? And I haven't been convinced that it really matters constitutionally where he was born. His mother was a white bread (communist floozy) Kansan, after all. I've heard the thing about his mother being to young to confer natural born status on him, but my response to that is "huh?".
It's really quite a simple requirement, one which he has spent over 1 million dollars resisting.
I hear that a lot too, but I've never seen an itemized list of expenses. You have one you cold forward to me?
If that doesn't raise a red flag for you, then nothing should.
It's intriguing, just like a lot of things about this poser are. But like I've wrote in the post that generated your breathless response: I've been around long enough and watched enough politics to know where things like this lead: almost always nowhere. I spent a good portion of the '90s convinced that any day the law wold catch up with the Clinton gang. Looking back on it, I was naive.
Would it be enormously entertaining and satisfying if this joker's downfall turned out to be some bombshell revelation like a 8 mm movie of his parents leaving the hospital with him in Kenya? Of course. Will it happen? No. Do I have better things to fret about, as a person with a life who is concerned about the ideas the man this country elected, legitimately or not, is trying to impose? Yes.
You should just go about your own business and never question anything that goes on around you. It's simply none of your business is all anyone should ever have to say to you.
Thanks for the condescension, Sonny. I just happen to agree with Dennis Prager that there's just nothing to gain, saving the nation wise, from pursuing this vigorously at this time. I'd love to see one state before 2012 requiring a birth certificate to get on the ballot, or something like that. I'd love to know if he ever had an Indonesian passport, which actually may be disqualifying. I find the topic entertaining, or I wouldn't be posting about it after midnight. I'm just telling all of you people getting all worked up about it that your are in for a let down.
