Volunteers from the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) were assaulted by pro-homosexual activists yesterday [July 28] in Warwick, Rhode Island, as they peacefully held signs in support of traditional marriage.
Volunteer Rex Teodosio described the scene: "We were at a busy intersection, getting strong support for traditional marriage. Three women approached us -- one threw mayonnaise, while the other two grappled with our photographer."
"Then we were sprayed with mace. Finally, a burly woman got out of a car and punched our photographer in the face. They shouted obscenities the whole time."
"It happened suddenly. But we got the license plate number of the second car; someone in the first car had covered its license plate with a shirt. We filed a report with the police."
Pro-homosexual individuals have thrown water bottles, pesticide, rotten eggs and soda at TFP volunteers. But this is the first time the Catholic group was pepper sprayed, punched and sustained head injuries.
Police at Warwick station responded promptly and have opened a case. Pictures and video footage of the assault are helping the investigation.
"So much for tolerance," said Joseph Ferrara who was hit by the attackers. "Homosexual activists talk about tolerance, but everyone who saw the attack, saw their 'tolerance' in action. For me, these attacks reinforced my resolve to defend traditional family values. It's so important," he added....

If found guilty, they will be sentenced to 10 hours community service in a women’s bath house.

The only way to overturn the law now is enough conservatives have to vote the moonbats out of the state legislature and replace them with conservative lawmakers who will overturn the law. Then,The people of the state need to amend their constitution so that it excludes perverted marriage.

Sadly,the voters in this state will continue to keep voting for these clowns that are in power now.They’ve just had it drilled into their heads to always vote for the democrat because ,”Democrats are for the working man!”,and ,”Republicans hate unions!”.I remember once that this idiot kept going on and on about both Bush and Romney...saying neither one would have ever been anything if it wasn’t for their fathers.(and I’m not saying I support or don’t support either one).Then he started singing the praises of Ted Kennedy! Now who owes more to their father for where they are today than ANY of the Kennedys?That’s what we’re up against here.(Although most people I talk to here ARE against gay “marriage”).

The problem is that 100+ years ago when state constitutions were drafted it never occurred to ANYBODY that it would EVER be necessary to define marriage as being between a man and a woman. Some states lucked out because when they dealt with bigamy they worded the law as being one man and one woman, but NOBODY envisioned a day when homosexuals would even be public about their perversions, much less asking to be married.
