Barack Obama says he was born in Hawaii, and since no one has shown any proof he was born in Kenya or elsewhere, it's OK to conclude he was born in Hawaii.
Sure his grammar school records show that he was enrolled as an Indonesian Muslim, but some people will say anything to get their kid in the right school. It doesn't really answer the question.
It's OK though for others not to use my deferential standard and continue to question whether Obama was born in Hawaii. We aren't talking about a 12-year-old qualifying to play Little League here. There is a Constitutional mandate that the President be a natural-born citizen, and if Obama is not one, he certainly will have committed the biggest fraud since the White Sox threw the World Series.
The reason why people still question Obama's citizen status is one-fold: "President Transparency" has refused to release any original documents on the matter. He can end the controversy in a day by releasing original documents, but for some inexplicable reason he refuses, and his love-struck media never asks him why he won't. The media instead spends hell-bent hours on making the Birther movement look like fringy, conspiracy-hungry kooks.
You have to admit though, even if you are a devout Obama-bot, Obama's refusal to release any original documents makes for a newsworthy story by itself.

Well De Seno is blogger not a Fox staffer (afaik) but it is, nevertheless, nice to see Fox posting an honest Birther article. The truth about Obama’s refusal to release his records is slowly but surely oozing out into the mainstream.
Friend of mine emailed Mark Silva from the Loser Times saying he wanted to make a donation to Obama’s birth hospital in the name of the Doctor that delivered him. Asked Silva if he could point him in the right direction.
Silva’s Response: “The end of a pier.”

I am curious, though. In the UCMJ there are very specific penalties for swearing to a statement, signing a paper that is known to be false.
What would be the penalty for this? If it is true that he is indeed foreign born, not a natural born citizen of the United States, he at the very least has committed perjury by taking the oath of office because he knew from the onset that he was not qualified.
I would LOVE to see him prosecuted and sent to prison for many years.
Actually, if Marshall was his dad it would clear up his citizenship question as Marshall was a U.S. citizen. Bambi's problem is that his dad probably was a British subject and his mom being too young to transfer her citizenship makes his "Natural Born" citizenship the core of his and our problem.
That's total B.S. I'd rather see Condi, Sowell, Keyes, Thomas..... heck, even the former democrat congressman from Tennessee is more qualified. Anyone but obama. The man has no traceable past. We don't know who he really is. And that's troubling.

2. The Democrat Party for not vetting Obama even before he announced his candidacy.
3. The Secretary of State of Illinois for not demanding confirmation.
4. The Congress for not demanding the evidence. They demanded and got the evidence from McCain, evaluated it and made a decision. Why didn't the Democrat-controlled US House and US Senate do their duty, as they did with McCain?
5. The MSM for not vetting Obama, for becoming a propaganda organ for Obama, for personally attacking anyone and everyone, who brought this and any other issue up.
6. John McCain for not doing his duty to his country and demanding Obama's birth issue be cleared up at the same time his was.

I don't think the mother being too young is an issue, nor is the father being British.

Dear Congressman,
As you know there are some people in this country that remain skeptical as to the location of President Obama’s birth.
These people, dismissed by some in the media as lunatics and called “Birthers” simply desire proof that the President is a legitimate Constitutionally qualified natural born American.
President Obama could easily clear up the questions surrounding his birth simply by releasing the long form version of his Birth Certificate to the public, but to date President Obama has refused and legally fought challenges to release that document.
The long form version of his Birth Certificate would contain specific information about his birth such as the name of the hospital he was born and the name of the Physician that witnessed his birth.
One of the reason there are so many skeptics is because in 1961 the Hawaii state law made it possible to obtain a Birth Certificate even if you were not physically born in the state see (Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).
We can understand that if young Ann Dunham had birthed Obama in Kenya that a call to her parents and the idea that their grandson was not natural born might have persuaded the Dunhams to go to the registrar to give young Barack the appearance of being a natural born U.S. Citizen.
In addition, there are numerous inconsitancies when viewing the copies of his Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) and comparing them with Long form versions of Birth Certificates issued to children born around the same time as Obama, i.e., the serialized dept of health number assigned to his COLB is a number that is higher then ones assigned to children born on Aug 5th 1961 a day after his birth and in the same hospital. No one has adequately explained that inconsistancy but it would make sense if his birth was filed with the registrar on a date later then the date on which he was born.
So in order to put this matter to rest I ask you to draft and forward a Congressional Resoluton to Honor the Doctor that brought Obama into the World. There can be no doubt that this Doctors name is historically relevant and it is quite natural and non-political to want to see the Doctor that birthed Obama honored in this fashion, after all he birthed the first black President and the first President from the State Of Hawaii.
This will also allow people to make donations to the Hospital that Obama was born In the name of the One that brought him forth into the world.
