Freeper help: The Certificate
self | 7/29/09 | LS

Posted on 07/29/2009 8:58:42 AM PDT by LS

Freepers: in preparing for radio shows and appearances, I need some information. Yes, it's here (someplace) on FR, usually buried in a myriad of links. So I'm asking your help to get some concise and clear answers on some "birther" issues:

1) Is there a difference between a "Certificate of Live Birth" and a "Birth Certificate?" If so, what are the specific differences, and can a non-U.S. citizen obtain either or both?

2) Was, or was not, Pakistan on the State Department's "banned travel" list when Obama went there. This has been asserted and denied. Can anyone provide a list of such states from "da gubment" on the date in question?

3) In the noise and confusion, I have heard that a) the Hawaiian records were destroyed in 2001 or 2002; that b) the birth certificate exists; or c) a copy of the birth certificate exists. Which is it?

4) Is such personal information on a public figure subject to FOIA? (I know, it would take years, even if it was, but just asking).

5) What officials have claimed to have actually seen this, and would they know what to look for (if they inspected it at all?)

You don’t have to believe all the documentation on it. You can claim it is all false. Reality is - it is an issue. People who keep refusing to recognize it are being misleading.

ah, you might want to get the name of Jerome Corsi’s travel agent in case you need a fast ticket home from Kenya

“Notice that this Hawaiian bureaucrat used the expression “original vital records” instead of original birth certificate. Many skeptics of Barack Obama’s citizenship have suggested that Obama’s mother and grandmother conspired together to get US citizenship for Barack Obama after Ann Obama found herself stuck in Kenya because she was eight months pregnant and the airlines would not let her fly home. Barack Obama was born in Kenya on August 4th, 1961. Because of the law at the time and because the father was a foreigner and the mother was under 19, Barack Obama was a citizen of Kenya with no right to US citizenship.”

Don’t know about the accuracy...

Here is a very recent link to a Canada Free Press article: Media Viciousness and Obfuscating Meaning of "Natural Born Citizen" that tries to sort out some of this. THe author is Zach Jones.

there is one way to get around this if you can find a law or case law that says Immigration would have considered their marriage legal for the purposes of immigration even though they couldn’t legally get married in Hawaii.

As long as Obama Sr is listed as the father, their marriage status is immaterial.

The governmental forms always specify father..... not mother's husband.

Honestly, I’m not saying he was or wasn’t married before he allegedly married Stanley Ann. I keep asking you for some solid documentation because I haven’t seen any and you keep saying he was married.

I presume you are saying this because it would then negate the claim that his father’s citizenship transfers to Obama? And if mother and father weren’t married then that point is no longer valid?

Just spell out why you’re so concerned that we all embrace the idea that he was definitely married first in a foreign country?

You don’t understand the point.

How is it that so many people are just clueless about this?

Their marriage status IS RELEVANT IF HE WAS BORN IN KENYA.

You can clearly see this in the discussion in this SCOTUS Case...that was about a US citizen father.

There is a REASON for her to go. She needed a legal marriage and she would have to go to Kenya to get it.

The other reason is that she didn’t want her child born in the US - because she was a radical.

BHO, Sr. misrepresented his marital status to her. She thought they were legally married in Hawaii. So also thought Hawaii, which later granted her a divorce. Which presumably would have been unnecessary, had his bigamy been shown. Not that it mattered; radicals don't need marriage.

Obama was a lawyer. He isn’t anymore. He was a constitutional lawyer. He is held to a higher standard.

When did he get disbarred? I hadn't heard. Man, the MSM is really falling down on the job these days!

He knew or should have known that he could not be a legal UK citizen unless

His mother went to kenya and got married
OR
he was born in kenya.

He claimed he was a UK citzen. So maybe he really was born in Kenya.

His UK citizenship, which morphed into Kenyan citizenship when the Empire spun Kenya off and which expired in 1982 when he turned 21 without claiming it, was because his father was Kenyan, not because the birth was in Kenya.

You are sitting here making wild accusations about a dead triplet yet you refuse to acknowledge that it is well known that Obama Sr was already married.
Have you ever bothered to look at the customs and practices of the LUO tribe?

It is much easier to believe that Kezia was married to Sr than it is to believe a wild third baby story.

I have spelled this out multiple times. If you want to continue to mislead people go right ahead.

Whether or not they had a VOID marriage will effect many things depending on the facts that come out.

they had a VOID marriage. Posters here should be spending their time trying to find how to counter act that rather than ignoring it like it doesn’t exist with their head in the sand with a misleading agenda.

“In the lawsuit, Berg states that Sen. Obama was born in Kenya, and not in Hawaii as the senator maintains. Before giving birth, according to the lawsuit, Obama’s mother traveled to Kenya with his father but was prevented from flying back to Hawaii because of the late stage of her pregnancy, ‘apparently a normal restriction to avoid births during a flight.’ As Sen. Obama’s own paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister have also claimed, Berg maintains that Stanley Ann Dunham–Obama’s mother–gave birth to little Barack in Kenya and subsequently flew to Hawaii to register the birth.”

The original neighbors and their now grown kids still live there on that street-

Hawaii neighborhoods like dat, still like small town, bra. They would have noticed and remembered a guest house occupied by a haole girl and some black african dude with a keiki-

Look back to articles quoting statements of his paternal grandmother- before she was muzzled after the election

I've read the transcript and listened to the whole interview with Sarah Obama, his stepgrandmother. It's actually not that clear, since she says one thing then shortly after says the opposite, several times. Hard to accept that as definitive from an 80+ year old woman. Do we have any better evidence?

If you're going to do talk shows ask this: Is a person who hold dual citizenship at birth and doesn't give up citizenship from the other country until he's 21 constitutionally qualified to be President?

Possible answers: If yes, then refer to the constitution:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

If someone is a dual citizen at birth, then clearly they are not a natural born citizen.

First of all, how do you know he misrepresented the status to her. He may have..but where did you get that idea. If he did misrepresent the status to her..when did she find out?

Second of all,...here we go again about UK citizenship.

I am getting tired of writing about this

read this and educate yourself.

Your first step is to figure out whether he, in fact, had dual citizenship.

Start here.

How about the words of the Kenyan ambassador commenting on the birthplace of Obama being a great attraction?

Yes, he was entrapped by radio host. The interview is out there somewhere. It made th enews- breifinly-after the election.

Or- Grandma, paternal relatives, and Kenyan ambasador all lied. Makes sense.

We know Ann traveled with a 3 week old infant- based on interview with her friend in Wash State at whose home she showed up with infant whose diapers she did not know how to change.
