Fox News commentator calls Barack Obama racist
Telegraph (U.K.) ^ | July 29, 2009

Posted on 07/29/2009 6:21:43 AM PDT by Schnucki

A Fox News Channel commentator, Glenn Beck, said he believed President Barack Obama was a racist.

Beck made the statement during a guest appearance on the "Fox & Friends" morning show. He said Mr Obama had exposed himself as a person with "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture".

His remarks came during a discussion over Mr Obama's reaction to the arrest of the Harvard University scholar Henry Louis Gates junior

Mr Gates is black and was arrested for disorderly conduct by a white policeman over a misunderstanding about a break-in at his home.

A spokesman for Mr Obama said the White House had no comment.

Beck's statement was challenged on the air by Fox's host, Brian Kilmeade, who noted that most of the people who work for the nation's first black president are white.

"I'm not saying he doesn't like white people," Beck said. "He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist."

Beck wondered, during the discussion, what other president would immediately jump on the police for their actions in the case.

Mr Obama said in a news conference that he believed the police acted stupidly in the case, but later backtracked from the statement and invited Mr Gates and the police officer, Sgt James Crowley, to the White House for a conciliatory meeting later this week.

Bill Shine, Fox News senior vice president of programming, told the TVNewser web site that Beck had "expressed an opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions."

Racist? Gee, I dunno. Lets look at his sundays diet:

or how about another mans opinion, the Rev. Manning:

If you look through Rev Manning’s you tubes you will soon get a brand new perspective on Racism in America and its leader who is out to get whitie, his money and his religion. Why do you think the “black Panthers” were at a voting station intimidating people? Why do you think they “got off”

Any more news on the Secret Service guy who quit/transferred?

Please expand on this a little. I heard the Clintons treated their Secret Service like third-class citizens.

That is political. He hired a lot of white people to look good politically. It has nothing to do with his internal feelings for white people.

As I pointed out on another thread....I’m convinced he picked Joe as VP to make himself look good (smarter) and to give his base the impression that Joe is just a ‘dumb, white honky’ and Zero ‘rules the white man’. A script straight out of ‘The Jeffersons’.

“Was that story true?”

I don’t know! That’s why I asked about it.

This is a fact. Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.

This my parents harped on me and during 80 years has been proven correct every time.

“Please expand on this a little. “

There were a couple of threads about this story a few days ago. Perhaps someone who has a better relationship with the “search function” here can pull them up?

Not having the facts, Obama spoke out of his prejudices and bigotries. Whether that was anti-police bigotry, anti-white bigotry or severe elitist snobbery is for him to explain.

Some would say Gates’ using of taxpayer money to take a trip to China to study the DNA of Yo-Yo Ma is an example of “acting stupidly.”

Please go to Foxnews’ website, click the link at the bottom of the page and e-mail the Fox newsroom, telling you support Beck’s assertion that Obama is a racist.

There is no question about Obama’s racism. His black father abandoned him, his white mother was a kook. We know very little about his Indonesian stepfather. Up until the time he was 20 he had no contact with blacks. He got radicalized in college and wound up in Chicago, a steaming pot of anti-european-american black radical racism, he married a vicious racist who dragged him in to the snake pit of Rev. Wright. Obama uses racism and narcissism to deal with his racial identity confusion, abandonment issues, and the turmoil.

"“Beck’s statement was challenged on the air by Fox’s host, Brian Kilmeade, who noted that most of the people who work for the nation’s first black president are white. “

He hates whites unless they agree with him, then he moves them up to the category of "exceptional white people," ---who can be quite useful.

All one has to do is read his books and look at who he has chosen to associate with. There is no doubt that under that cool exterior is a seething racist who is hell bent on making America pay for past injustices. It is the reason why he goes around the world apologizing for America.

Yes, the book was named and modeled after Jeremiah Wright’s sermon “The audacity of hope”.

No, I haven’t seen anything else about it and I can’t even find the original source now. Either it was a garbage story or it’s gone down the memory hole.

I bet I have been pulled over by cops more often than them.

I hear ya! I my much younger years, I was pulled over on 8 separate occasions....for speeding! Sheesh! Only one time out of the 8, the officer gave me a warning...happened to be in Maryland....after 8, I realized ENOUGH was ENOUGH! Haven't been pulled over since 1993.
