It changes none of my opinions, but does certainly call into question the Hawaiian records and their care and especially the “staff” statements.
The passport intrusion and death of a witness who was helping the authorities, seems not to have been solved or a murderer caught.
I bet this information makes it's way into history books as this story is retold.

The irresponsible confirmation in the Senate of the irresponsible tallying of votes in the Electoral College does not supersede the clear meaning of Article II, Section 1.
If it is allowed to stand, disregard of the Constitution by all branches of the government would be openly established. To all who believe that the Constitution is the government’s basic law, that the Constitution is the only instrument that gives the enactments of Congress and the commands of the Executive validity, it will be clear that the rule of law in the United States is a fiction.
This sums up why this issue is not "dead", "irrelevant", "fringe" or "crank."
Sadly, disregard of the Constitution by all branches of the government is already openly established. And, the rule of law in the US is a fiction a la a Chrysler, GM, AIG, etc....
One mistake by the forgers they put 1961 when it should have been just 61.

On July 27, 2009 Janice Okubo told WorldNetDaily, “I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department. When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don’t destroy records. Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department. We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have.”
I believe it. Why on earth would they destroy the original documents?
Which directly contradicts this, from the editors of National Review, posted July 28:
The fundamental fiction is that Obama has refused to release his “real” birth certificate. This is untrue. The document that Obama has made available is the document that Hawaiian authorities issue when they are asked for a birth certificate. There is no secondary document cloaked in darkness, only the state records that are used to generate birth certificates when they are requested.
The notion that "there is no secondary document" is simply false. The COLB itself is a secondary document, as is the computerized state record that is used to create each COLB. The primary document is the original Certificate of Live Birth, or Certificate of Delayed Birth, or another member of the rather extensive line of Hawaiian birth documents.
If the quote from Janice Okubo is accurate, then Obama's primary birth documents probably still exist, "cloaked in darkness" in a folder in a file cabinet. And we still haven't seen them.
Washington D.C. is in the end phases of making some more equal than others; trying desperately to make this great country into a communist nation. I welcome the fall of "democracy" so a republic can once again rise.
My only prayer is that I can witness and participate in it in short order. Enough of the Federal Government and its tentacles into State's Rights. Votes first, guns later when they don't want to heed our vote.

One question, and I’m sorry if it has been covered prior to my asking. Is there only one COLB form for Hawaii or is there a separate COLB for children born on foreign soil to Hawaiian residents?
If both instances use the same COLB, would that COLB state the actual foreign place of birth or would it state the Hawaiian residence of the parents in the places of the document that read “island of birth” and “city of birth”?
