Family shuns girl, 8, after rape sparks outcry
PHOENIX - Lured by promises of chewing gum then allegedly raped in a shed by four boys barely older than her, an 8-year-old Liberian girl is now in foster care and living with strangers after being shunned by her family.
The alleged sexual assault in Phoenix and reaction by her family have sparked an international outcry, reaching all the way to the president of Liberia, the home country of the girl's family and the four young suspects.
"I think that family is wrong. They should help that child who has been traumatized and they should make sure that they work with the U.S. law authorities to see what can be done about the other young boys who have committed this offense," Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf told CNN.
"Not only should they abide by the law, but they too need serious counseling because clearly they are doing something, something that is no longer acceptable in our society here."

From what I read she has been neglected for 8 years
Are these the same ethnicity where the fathers play with their
little girls genitals, they say to “calm” them down? They do
this in their own country.
What group is that? One was arrested for doing it in a public place
in the US.
That said, rape would still be heinous if she were 16 and he 21. At 8, she is still a baby--lured by chewing gum. The boys all knew better and preyed on someone smaller and weaker than any one of them.

Why do we keep importing these people? They really don’t want to be here other than the promises the State Dept. makes to them for freebies! Other than that, they could care less about us or our culture. Enough is enough!

In Islam, you have this thing called mahr, which is translated by Muslims as "dowry", but is more accurately translated as "bride price", the amount that the husband is expected to give for marrying the girl. A virgin gets a high price.
This girl will now cost more to feed and care for than she will bring as mahr, so she is expendable.
